| With the advent of 4th Generation and its development,new teaching model of "Flipped Classroom" is increasingly popular in educational filed.Based on this,it is of great importance to improve students’ learning efficiency,self-learning ability and creativity and the teaching quality by combining mobile learning with SPOC(Small Private Online Course)and flipped classroom.In this study,it applies Connectivism to construct the course of SPOC flipped classroom which strives to break the traditional teaching mode and expand the scope of teaching activities to provide some references for the reform of English teaching mode.The principal purpose of this study is to apply the Connectivism into the teaching practice of SPOC flipped classroom,and provide references for the future scholars.This study is based on the research background at home and abroad.Further,it promotes its development by using Connectivism learning theory and flipped classroom teaching theory as a main line and applying literature research method,case analysis method and questionnaire method.First of all,it summarizes the research status at domestic and abroad in recent years through consulting Connectivism and SPOC related literature in recent years,taking the course of English majors A Survey of English-Speaking Countries in Xi’an Technological University as an example and putting forward the relevant curriculum setting in the teaching model of SPOC flipped classroom in terms of the characteristics of this course which contains the currmculum setting of SPOC flipped classroom based on Connectivism and the design of learning content.What’s more,it uses the Camtasia Studio,a Microvideo recording software,to record the micro courses online.At the same time,this thesis sets curriculum by taking a chapter "White Australia Policy" as an example to make a detail analysis of the case such as learning content,learning activities and learning objective of micro course.Eventually,it takes junior students of English major of Xi’an Technological University as the research object,regarding SPOC micro course released after class,further deepened and refined focal points in class as major learning method so as to carry out the teaching practice for one semester and make evaluations for this course.Based on this,it intends to understand the"ought to be" of practice and students’ ideal "actual situation".It finds that the implementation of interaction and the presentation of effective knowledge are crucial to SPOC design;teaching method,platform construction and SPOC micro course also exert a great function on improving students’ autonomous learning ability and learning initiative by using questionnaire and principal component analysis of SPSS.Applying Connectivism to the curriculum setting of SPOC flipped classroom is the innovation of this research. |
