Grieg is a famous composer and representative of the Norwegian national music school.He combined European traditional composition techniques with folk music and created many music with Norwegian national style.From the perspective of the creative theme of the first set of Peer Gynt,Grieg and Ibsen's value orientation in a certain part of their outlook on life and world view is consistent,and this work will have two in different fields.The founding masters are linked together.They share a common belief and express their love for the motherland in different ways.From the perspective of two pianos,this article uses the combination of theory and practice to elaborate the author's point of view.The full text is divided into three chapters.The first part mainly summarizes the development and performance of this kind of art form.The second part analyzes the artistic features of the works from the aspects of their literary connotation and musical characteristics.The third part is the author's analysis and summary of problems in actual performance,such as playing skills,work processing,and understanding the meaning of music.The "Peer Gynt" Suite has always been a long-standing performance in the concert.Compared with the orchestral version,the performance of the double piano gives the set a new acoustic effect,giving the listener a new and fresh feeling of hearing.The author hopes that through the analysis of the first group song of Peer Gynt,more people will understand the charm of the double piano music works.
