The transcription of 24-volume is one of the most important editions of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio.It was written earlier,received more texts,and was closer to the manuscript.It has high research value,while this version was not emphasized,and the research of the predecessors is not systematic enough.This thesis through the version research methods combined with related reference to solve the source,copy date of the transcription of 24-volume and the relationship between it and the other versions.This thesis has three parts,including introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part introduces the research status of the transcription of 24-volume and the contents and innovation of the thesis.The body of the thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the relationship between the transcription of 24-volume and manuscript.The author compared the preface,Wang Shichen’s comments,number of statistical texts and manuscript revision of the transcription of 24-volume and manuscripts to prove that the transcription of 24-volume and the original aren’t in the same edition system.The transcription of 24-volume with YiShi,ZhuXuezhai manuscript originates from 16-volume first draft.In the second chapter,the textual features of the transcription of 24-volume,there is little doubt that the transcription of 24-volume has high textual value,but there are still many variants in manuscripts.By analyzing these different versions and the version phenomena reflected in them,the author think that the transcription of 24-volume was copied from various versions.The third chapter is the relationship between the transcription of 24-volume and the WangJinfan edition.The transcription of 24-volume and WangJinfan edition are both found in the Changshan region.The base of WangJinfan edition is the transcription of YiShi.Through collate the two version the author considers that the copy of the transcription of YiShi is one of the important copies of the transcription of 24-volume.The fourth chapter is the transcribe time of the transcription of 24-volume.Through the taboo character of the transcription of 24-volume and poets’ life,The author determined the era of copying from thirteen year of Qianlong to thirty-nine year of Qianlong.The fifth chapter,the investigation of the sources of the transcription of 24-volume.The author counted the Li tribe in ChangShan county annals and Li’s genealogy and search their names in the transcription of 24-volume.The author found that there was no evasion,but the "male" in the transcription of 24-volume lack of writing is worth our attention.The conclusion part summarizes the various issues discussed in this paper.
