Study For The Ancient Patterning Stone-Carved Deer Statues In The East Of The Altai Mountains

Ancient patterning stone-carved deer statues refers to the area of Altai Mountain in the west,Mongolia in the east,Outer Baikal in the north and Xinjiang in the south,China,with the cuboid stone as the carrier and the stone statue with patterned deer grain prehistoric as the main emblazonry.In the past research,The researchers put the focus on the subordinate-ornamentation.The way is unsatisfactory that they make study of chronology and staging of the ancient patterning stone-carved deer statues by subordinate-ornamentation.we should proceed from the major-ornamentation.Based on the published and available materials,combined with ethnology,physical anthropology and other disciplines,this paper studies the origin,causes and functions of the prototype of stone carved deer statues.The cultural meaning of ancient patterning stone-carved deer statues go through two stages at last.The first stage is sorcery culture,and the second is religious culture.They are not the identical,and we confuse sorcery with religion.On the question of chronology,I think this is the second stage of ancient patterning stone-carved deer statues in the 13 B.C.,and the chronology of the first stage,we need more evidence.
