As the traditional totem of the Chinese nation,the deer is an important part in Chinese traditional culture.Chinese traditional deer pattern,the earliest appeared in the primitive society paintings,The jade deer rise in Shang and Zhou dynasties,stone brick pattern in qin and han dynasties was change there styles,and then to the Ming and qing dynasties widely spread in the folk custom activities.Because the periods economic and cultural were different,deer patterns also formed very different artistic features.The inheritance and development by the deer patterns bad be given diversified forms and cultural connotations,the image of deer pattern also complex and changeable,the carrier of deer pattern is also diverse.In ancient times,the paintings of rock paintings and the painted potteries in the ancient times showed popular of the the deer as a hunting object for survival,and the deer was the object of wicca and be worshiped during the shang and zhou dynasties.In Qin and Han dynasties,the deer was commonly found in the tomb murals as one of the connection or the ascending celestial methods between sky and earth,and the deer was regarded of longevity or rebirth in Tang and Song dynasties.In Ming and Qing dynasties,the deer grain lucky draw was common in people's life.This paper hope to the traditional deer pattern as an object for research.in the time line for the vertical axis dynasties on the basis of the horizontal axis,explore the development patterns of the deer dynasties of the change and its symbolic meaning,analyzes its evolution rule research.
