Practice Report On Escort Interpretation In Siberian Tiger Park Of HengDaoHezi

This practice report is the escort interpretation for visiting Siberian Tiger Park of HengDaoHezi in Hailin.The interpretation this time was mainly Chinese-English translation.The content covers a wide range of knowledge,from Siberian Tigers to history and culture.Under the guidance of Skopos theory,the author used different strategies,such as omission,explanation,amplification,literal translation and liberal translation.Also,the author analyzed some problems she met during interpreting.This report is composed by five parts.The first part is the description of interpreting task.The author described the background,value and meaning of this task.The second part is the introduction about the interpreting process and theoretical preparation.And the preparation before interpreting,the whole process of interpreting and the conclusion after interpreting in detail.The third part is the conclusion on problems that met in practice.The forth part is the analysis of examples.The author classified the problems during the practice and adopted different strategies to solve them.The last part is the conclusion on the practice this time.The author listed several points that can be used as reference and several points of inadequacy as well.Additionally,the author also came up with some solutions to these problems.
