The Art Of Carving Time

As the appearing of American independent film since the 90s in last century,the situation of unification of Hollywood has been broken.Independent film was the opposite of Hollywood,from the fringe into the center of the field.Richard Linklater,with its unique personal style and superb artistic attainments,has become one of the most popular independent filmmakers in the United states.In this paper,the representative works of Linklater(<Before sunrise>,<Before sunset>,<Before Midnighf>,<Boyhood>)as the main research object,with Linklater's unique concept of time as the clue,read through the view of Linklater's movies,theme,narrative art visual style,review and summary of Richard Linklater's art director.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces Linklater's growth and creation process,research object,research status and research value.In the second part,the first chapter discusses the Linklater movie theme time sculpture,the second chapter discusses Linklater's unique narrative art,the third chapter discusses Linklater's persistent style,the fourth chapter summarizes the art director of Linklater.The conclusion part makes a conclusion of the art of Linklater's carving time.
