The Study On Geographical Phonetic Differences Inside Huantai Dialect

Huantai Dialect belongs to the Zhangli region of Jilu Mandarin,and it's also classified as West Qi area of West region in Shandong Dialect.Huantai is basically in the transition zone between the Jilu Mandarin to Jiaoliao Mandarin,which is also at the edge of the distribution of the Rusheng tone.There are some phonetic differences between different towns of Huantai,but the studies on the phonetics of Huantai dialect and the description of the whole phonology is relatively limited.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the geographical phonetic differences inside Huantai dialect,and to provide references for the study of dialect contact and phonetic evolution in the relevant regions.The thesis consists five chapters.The first chapter is introduction.Briefly introduce the geographical and historical conditions of Huantai and the general situation of research on Huantai dialect.Then the main content,significance,and research methods of this study are presented,and the status of the survey site and the pronunciation collaborators is explained.The second chapter:The Dialectal Phonetic System of the County Town of Huantai.Taking the county town Suozhen as a representative,this chapter describes the phonetic system including the initial consonants,the final vowels,the tones and the phonetic change.The third chapter:Expressions of the Geographical Phonetic Differences inside Huantai Dialect.This chapter analyzes the specific phonetic differences of Huantai Dialect,using dialect maps to show the geographical distribution of differences.The fourth chapter:Phonetic Comparison between Huantai Dialect and the Surrounding Dialects.This chapter shows the influence of the surrounding dialects,and summarizes the changes of the phonetic features over a wider range.The fifth chapter:The Evolution of Differences and Influencing Factors.This chapter briefly analyzes the evolution process and development trend of phonetic differences in Huantai,and summarizes the non-linguistic factors that caused the geographical differences,including administrative divisions,natural conditions,traffic conditions,social communication and dialect concepts.
