With the steady development of Sino-Thai exchanges,more and more Thailand students learning Chinese in recent years,no matter in China or in Thailand.So the research on the teaching of Chinese for Thai students are becoming more and more important in the research on the teaching of second language.In the primary stage of teaching Chinese in Thailand,speech teaching is particularly an important part.In order to improve the need for Thai primary stage of Chinese phonetic teaching quality is essential to analyze the phonological errors of Thailand students in the primary stage of learning Chinese.But after reading predecessors’ researches I found that most of the predecessors’ researches of Thailand elementary Chinese phonetic errors are based on the survey data.The researches based on personal teaching practice to find the types of errors and teaching strategies are less.This study selected the Thai Chinese learning students at the primary stage in Science Based Technology Vocational College(Chonburi)for example.This research is on Audio Analysis and the comparison of Chinese and Thai speech to explore the causes of the primary stage of Chinese Thailand students’ phonological errors and provide some learning and teaching suggestions based on the result of this analysis,in order to provide some help for the primary stage of Thai Chinese phonetic teaching,and promote the development of Chinese teaching for Thai students.This paper focuses on the previous researches of Chinese phonetic errors of Thailand students in primary stage,Chinese and Thai phonetic comparison,the phonetic errors of Thai students at the primary stage in Science Based Technology Vocational College(Chonburi)and teaching strategies for the primary stage of Thai Chinese phonetic teaching.Firstly,summarized the phonetic errors of the Thai Chinese Learning students and the teaching strategies for those phonetic errors.Secondly,analyzed the phonetic system of Thai speech and Chinese speech in detail,compare the Chinese phonetic structure and the Thai phonetic structure to find the similarities and differences.Then through the analyze the phonetic errors from 64 audio files of Thai Chinese learning students collected in the teaching process in Science Based Technology Vocational College(Chonburi)and combined with the similarities and differences of Thai and Chinese phonetic and previous studies to analyze the reason of each kind of error.Finally,comparing with the existing in Chinese primary stage of phonetic teaching strategies,combined with my own Chinese teaching practice to provide some help for the primary stage of Thai Chinese phonetic teachingThis research shows that Chinese students in Thailand primary stage often produce Chinese consonant errors include the pronunciation of r is not clear,the confusion of ch and sh,x and sh,g k h,sh and s.And j and q sounds similar,Thai pronunciation mixed with Chinese pronunciation.Students in Thailand Chinese primary stage often produce Chinese vowel error are ia and iao,e and ie,ou and uo,ü and u sounds confusing.Students in Thailand Chinese primary stage often produce the tone errors in the primary stage of ignoring the strict tone domain is mainly: four tones mixed reading,softly pronunciation difficulties.And on these types of speech errors are generated by the negative transfer of Thai,Chinese own negative transfer to and not clear teaching etc..For these types of errors the author believes that through increasing the teaching quality of Chinese teachers in the teaching process,using Chinese & Thai contrast teaching and Chinese & Chinese contrast teaching,the errors of teaching strategies can improve the quality of the Chinese primary stage of pronunciation teaching,and improve the students’ level of spoken Chinese in Thailand. |
