The Flipped Classroom is a new kind of teaching mode combining the educational theories and teaching practice in the information technology times.It emphasizes the educational idea of the students' leading role and the teachers' guiding role.The traditional classroom teaching mode is reversed with the full advantage of modern information technology.It's good for students' individual development.Meanwhile,it raises a higher demand on teachers to disign various teaching activities with the use of information technology,according to the teaching experience and the practical condition and characteristics of every student,which promotes their professional development.This paper mainly discusses the application of the Flipped Classroom in English courses during primary school.Considered characteristics of English subject,the paper puts forward the application strategies of the Flipped Classroom in primary English courses from the aspects of teaching content,activities and resources after clearly explaining the thoery of the new mode.Taking the grade five students in No.5 primary school of Guanggu as the teaching object,the paper firstly analyzes the present situation and problems of English learning in this primary school before the study,then discusses to use the application strategies of the Flipped Classroom to solve the problems.Next,it designs and develops the specific primary English courses of 4 weeks with this mode,and carries out two-rounds of action research during the period.In this process,I try to kown the students' learning effect by questionnaire,interwiew,classroom observation,test evaluation and so on.After that,I analyze the problems for improving the courses next time.The application of this new mode is optimized during the process of the action research.At last,I test the result of the study.From the final conclusions of this paper,it can be proved that the implementing effect of Flipped Classroom in primary English courses is much better than the traditional teaching mode.The students' learning interests and effect have improved obviously.So the Flipped Classroom is available and helpful to the primary English courses.
