Research On The Film And Television Of Buddhist Theme

The development of film and television will always be affected by different ideas which reflect creators5 will of the film and television.Buddhism is one of the key points of Chinese traditional culture,and it is an important part of the three local philosophy of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.The film and television works of Buddhism came into being one hundred years ago.Since then,the Buddhist elements broken into pieces formed different types of restructuring which has greatly expanded the scope of film materials.Today,as a cultural factor,Buddhism has been embedded in the skin of Chinese film and television culture.With the popularity of television,film and television works of the audience groups are becoming more and more detailed.With Buddhism as the theme of the TV series,animated film after another,it deeply loved by the audience.In recent years,the documentary slowly rise,the eyes start focusing on Buddhist themes,a large number of outstanding works such as the emergence of Dunhuang,Millennium Bodhi Road,Xuanzang and so on.The author's graduate work selected Dade monk Kumarajiva not known to the world-created a personal planning documentary Kumarajiva.The author bases The Buddhist theme film and television works as the research object,combs the development process and current situation,and through the planning and artistic conception on documentary Kumarajiva and explore the Buddhist theme film and television works to develop space.This paper is divided into the following six parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic,research methods,literature review and innovation and inadequacies of the study.The second part is the review of the Buddhist theme film and television works,a comprehensive and detailed exposition of the development process of the Buddhist theme film and television works,summarizes the cultural connotation,and the development prospects are analyzed.The third part discusses the type and the integrity of Kumarajiva's story,the geographical features of historical and cultural diversity,analyzes the value of Kumarajiva film.The fourth part expounds the artistic conception of the personal planning documentary-Kumarajiva,interprets from three angles-the topic,angle,narrative style,cultural connotation.The fifth part selects the movie Tang Xuanzang,the documentary Millennium Bodhi Road,the NHK documentary Dunhuang and personal,planning documentary Kumarajiva to make a horizontal comparison?takes a comparison of characters,multiple perspectives,artistic and academic works,expounds the advantages and disadvantages of each individual so as to improve the planning work and gets a summary of the Buddhist theme film and television work on narrative strategies,ideological core,audio-visual language etc.The sixth part is the conclusion.The author views the results of the study and gives a summary,makes a positive outlook on the image of the spread of Buddhism and Kumarajiva theme film and television works.
