| In this report,the author analyzes her performance as interpreter at 2015 “Looking China” Foreign Youth Film Project(Lanzhou)interpreting task from the following aspects: pre-interpreting,mid-interpreting and post-interpreting.The following difficulties are found during this interpreting practice: information storage,output of target text,influence of speaker’s accent and speed,and influence of difficult terms like adage,slang,network buzzwords and professional terms.By using Gile’s theory of interpreting method,some special cases in this task are analyzed.Finally,the author summarizes three aspects of experience: first,the interpreter should improve memory strategy by rearranging portion of working memory/ note-taking in information storage,and optimizing the formula of note-taking;second,communication between the interpreter and the speakers before and during interpreting should be enhanced for better understanding;Third,the interpreter should use the strategy of liberal interpreting when facing difficult terms rather than struggle in finding equivalence.Besides,the interpreter’s pronunciation,intonation,speed of speaking and confidence also affect interpreting result. |
