Filmko spared no effort to build a 3D mythological movie called <The Monkey King> in 2014.It breaks numbers of records in the history of Chinese movie,which made the mythological movies and TV plays refocused by the audiences.With the “myth wind” blowing everywhere in China,a plenty of mythological TV plays were produced in the past years.Such as “Land and Shiva”,“The Legend of Deification”,“Matsu”,“Fairy Lake”,the new “Journey to the West” and so on.These TV plays have brought a lot of discussions among the audiences.However,there is also lack of professional theory about mythological dramas.It is even just a “blank”.In that,anglicizing the popular phenomenon about these movies and researching their type are all very meaningful in both theory and reality filed.In view of these phenomena,this thesis can be divided into 4 parts.Firstly,the paper will tell the definition of mythological TV plays extending to their create and develop process.Later it will elaborate the relationship among myth,TV plays and mythological TV plays.Secondly,you can see the differences between old-version mythological TV plays and new-version mythological TV plays through comparing the special affects,music,character molding and some other aspects of them.And pointed out that Special is just for art means of service,the Story is the real core of myth series;In addition,the myth of TV play music design also should give change,not blindly conform.Thirdly,the writer will dig out the connotation of the myth which is hiding in the show by analyzing the play <Journey to the West> directed by Zhang Jizhong.Applying the thought of deconstruction again,back analysis of the TV series <Journey to the west>,points out that the Guidance is the truth behind the Transfer,Tang's monk meat immortality is likely to be the function of Fraud,so the real beneficiaries of heaven is the Buddha;And combining with the original further illustrate the theme of the TV series Journey to the west,points out that the inspirational story hidden behind the secular,genie behind much of the story is about an allegory of real life,an alchemist practice behind is actually raises a gender fix true essence of life.This part is also the biggest innovation of this article.Finally,the writer will elaborate the difficulties and bottlenecks which the mythological TV plays are facing currently by sorting and analyzing narrative strategy,visual spectacle,symbols and metaphors in these plays.After that,the writer will try to give some rational suggestions for the development of mythological plays in the future.The writer has used relative theories of narratology and relevant thinking of deconstruction trying to give answers of four problems.They are: the definition of mythological TV plays the differences of old-version mythological TV plays and new-version mythological TV plays,the metaphor of mythological TV plays,the trend of mythological TV plays.
