College student represents a relatively popular group in modern society.In many people's eyes,the college student lives an easier life,but that is not the case.College students has reached the statutory age.Meanwhile,they tend to be physically mature and desire for mental "independence".However,they are in a transition to physical and mental maturity.Since they are not mature enough both physically and mentally and have their self-expectation,they are confronted with various pressure problems,such as economic independence,interpersonal relationship s,academic examinations and so on.In this research,the author mainly adopts the method of questionnaire survey to learn about the perceived stress level,hope level,level of growth after pressure of contemporary college students.At the meantime,the author explores the relationship between any two factors and between three factors of the perceived stress,the hope and the growth after pressure in order to provide guidance for the work of college students'psychological health education in university.In this research,the author adopts the method of overall random sampling to select 547 valid participants in Guangxi Normal University and Yulin Normal college.By using Chinese Perceived Stress Scales(CPSS),ADHS and UPSGO,the author discusses the impact of the perceived stress,hope and post-stress growth of college students on demographic variables,such as gender,the single birth,grade and so on.Also,the author tests the intermediary effect of hope between perceived stress and post-stress growth.With the data being processed by SPSS20.0,the author mainly makes descriptive statistics,T testing,single factor variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The main results are as follows:(1)Overall perceived stress level of college students is at average level.(2)Overall hope level of college students is above average level,and the overall situation is relatively good.(3)The level of post-stress growth is above average level.(4)The perceived stress of college students has significant differences in the single birth,different grades and influence of pressure events,and has insignificant differences in gender,origin of student and major type.(5)The hope level of college students has significant differences in the influence of pressure events,and has insignificant differences in gender,the single birth,grade,origin of student and major type.(6)The post-stress growth of college students has significant differences in gender,the single birth,grade and major type,and has insignificant differences in the influence of pressure events.(7)The perceived stress has significant negative correlation with hope and post-stress growth;hope has significant positive correlation with post-stress growth.(8)The perceived stress negatively predicts hopes and post-stress growth;hope positively predicts post-stress growth.(9)Hope plays a partial intermediary role between perceived stress and post-stress growth.(10)The grouping tests show that hope plays a partial intermediary role in high score group of perceived stress,and hope plays a complete intermediary role in low score group of perceived stress.
