| This reflective research report is based on the C-E translation task in the HarbinTrade Fair including company profiles and some project sites overview. Thisreflective report is completed according to the difficulties encountered in thetranslation tasks, and the process of solving the difficulties. The report is divided intothree chapters for discussion. The first chapter is to introduce the task, languagefeatures of the source text as well as the introduction of the company profile; thesecond chapter is an introduction to the translation process and the translationtheories and strategies applied in the translation process; the third chapter is the mainbody of this report which introduces major problems that appeared in the translationprocess and ways to solve the problems respectively; the final conclusionsummarizes the experience gained in the translation task of company profiles.The author hopes that this reflective report can offer some constructivesuggestions for the translation of company profiles so as to make more contributionsto the prosperity and development of our country's economy. |
