Objective:To analyze the basis and influencing factors of the construction which contribute to a reasonably interpretion to the theory of six fu-organs,and reveal its essential meaning and clinical significance accordingly.It provides the theoretical support for the experimental research and clinical application of six fu-organs theory,and further enriches the modern study contents of visceral manifestation theory.Methods:Putting the theory of six fu-organs back into a specific historical stage of its development,from the perspective of genesis,applies text interpretation,speculation,comparison and other research methods to analyze how the factors,including observation of cadavers and daily life,clinical verification,Sancai thought,theory of Yin-Yang and five elements,ancient astronomy and ancient meteorology etc.,affect the construction of six fu-organs theory.Results:The following conclusions are drawn through the research:1.Influenced by Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches,“six pitches” and philology,the concept of “six fu-organs” is formed.2.The formation of sanjiao was affected by Sancai thought and the meaning of “jiao”.“Sanjiao is visible” means sanjiao has definite morphological characteristics.“Sanjiao is invisible” means it has no fixed shape.3.The concepts and functions of each fu-organ is inspired by the appearance anddevelopment of ancient anatomy,and obtain more connotation through beinginfluenced by traditional culture,philology,life observation and pathologicalcounter-evidence.4.Stemmed from the ancients' life observation and pathological counter-evidence,theconstruction of physiological characteristic of six fu-organs also affected by theclassification of Yin-Yang and five elements.5.Impacted by Yin-Yang theory and five elements theory,the interior-exteriorrelationship and Zang-Fu extra-ordinary connection between five viscera and sixfu-organs which on a basis of anatomical position,physiological connections andpathological connections are formed.Conclusions:The theory of six fu-organs is a significant part of visceral manifestation theory.Its formation and development are deeply influenced by multi-factors as Chinese traditional culture,ancient natural science and Chinese traditional philosophy.The difference in cultural characteristics is the basis of the cognitive differences between the Chinese and Western medicines.The different modes of thinking which constructed the cognitive differences between the Chinese and Western medicines.In order to correctly understand the theory of six fu-organs,we necessarily value the objective basis of the theory,taking into full consideration of the influence of Chinese traditional culture,ancient philosophy,natural science,traditional thinking etc.
