Clinical Research On Affecting The Quality Of Life Of Patients (Qi Deficiency And Phlegmy) In Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Treated With Chemotherapy By Yiqi Huatan Method

Objective:The purpose of this research is to make full use of the unique advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in the treatment of malignant tumors and observe the influence of life quality of patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer(NSCLC)who are treated by chemotherapy with the method of Yiqi Huatan method.The research is discuss the effect of Yiqi Huatan method in quality of life in patients with NSCLC chemotherapy treatment effect,and for further improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer chemotherapy and provide a convenient and effective treatment method.For the sake of Chinese medicine dialectical treatment of malignant tumor and improve tumor patient's quality of life for clinical reference.Methods:A randomized controlled trial was conducted to select 65 patients receiving chemotherapy for NSCLC who received in-patient and out-patient treatment in the department of oncology,who are come from The Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin university of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2017 to November 2019.They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 32 cases in the observation group and 33 cases in the control group.The observation group to take oral Chinese medicine medicinal and western medicine routine treatment,the control group only given western medicine routine treatment,observation time for 4 weeks.Judging the Yiqi Huatan method's influence on quality of life of patients with non-small cell lung cancer chemotherapy mainly by observing lung cancer patients quality of life(EORTC QLQ-LC43),Karnofasky Performance Status score(KPS score)and TCM syndrome score,and with routine blood,liver and kidney function for the safety evaluation index assessment of the Yiqi Huatan method's security,then take the SPSS22.0 software analysis process observation data,analyzing and comparing the clinical effect of two groups of patients.Results:This clinical observation including 65 cases,of which the observation group of 32 cases,control group 33 cases.After 4 weeks of clinical observation,5 cases were lost to follow-up,including 2 cases in the observation group and 3 cases in the control group.Finally,a total of 60 patients completed the clinical observation study,including 30 in the observation group and 30 in the control group.1.Baseline situationBefore treatment,gender,age,chemotherapy program TCM syndrome score,quality of life(EORTC QLQ-LC43)score,Karnofasky Performance Status score(KPS score)and other aspects of the two groups of patients were compared and analyzed.The statistical results showed that all the results are P>0.05,indicating no statistical significance,the observation group and the control group two group could be compared.2.Quality of life scores(EORTC QLQ-LC43 score)comparisonFunctional fields: After treatment,the improvement of role function and emotional function in the two groups was compared,and P<0.05 was obtained by rank test,which was statistically significant.Comparison of improvement in the fields of physical function,social function and cognitive function by rank test,P>0.05,means no statistical significance,among which,the effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group in the fields of physical function and social function.Symptom fields: After the treatment,the improvement of 6 symptoms including cough,shortness of breath,fatigue,appetite,nausea,vomiting and diarrhea in areas of the two groups was compared by rank test(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.The improvement in the four symptom areas of constipation,pain,sleep and hair loss was found by rank test for P>0.05,showing no statistical significance.Other fields: After treatment,the improvement of overall quality of life between the two groups was found to be P<0.05 by rank test,which was statistically significant.In the field of economic situation,P>0.05 was obtained by rank sum test,showing no statistical significance.3.TCM syndrome scores comparisonObservation group:Before and after treatment compared by paired T test,P<0.05,suggesting group score comparison before and after the treatment was statistically significant.Control group: before and after treatment compared by paired t test,P<0.05,and the control group before and after treatment score compared with statistics.Between the two groups: the difference between the observation group and the control group before and after treatment was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group;the two groups before and after treatment of TCM syndrome curative effect comparison,by using rank test P<0.05,with statistical significance.Observation group and control group can reduce the TCM syndrome score,the observation group total effective rate was 96.7%,control group was 43.3%.4.Karnofasky Performance Status score(KPS score)comparisonObservation group: comparison of KPS score before and after treatment by rank test P<0.05,indicating a statistical difference.Control group: comparison of KPS score before and after treatment by rank test,P>0.05,indicating no statistical difference.Between the two groups: observation group after treatment,the KPS score was 36.7%,the stability factor of 60.0%,falling at a rate of 3.3%,the control group after treatment,the KPS score was 13.3%,the stability factor of 73.3%,falling at a rate of 13.3%,by the rank test conclusion P<0.05,with statistical significance.5.Safety monitoringStatistical analysis of the two groups before and after treatment the blood routine,liver function,renal function,contains 7 indicators,according to the results before and after treatment in patients with no obvious abnormality or serious adverse reactions.Conclusion: 1.Yiqi Huatan prescription can effectively improve the quality of life of patients receiving chemotherapy for NSCLC.2.Yiqi Huatan prescription can improve the role function and emotional function of NSCLC chemotherapy patients,effectively relieve cough,shortness of breath,poor appetite,nausea,vomiting,diarrhea,fatigue and other clinical symptoms.3.The TCM symptoms of patients with NSCLC treated with chemotherapy can be effectively improved by Yiqi Huatan method.4.There is no obvious adverse reaction to Yiqi Huatan method.
