The Study Of Yiqi Chutan Formula Combined With TKI In Treatment Of EGFR Mutated Advanced Non Small Cell Lung Cancer On Quality Of Life And Safety

ObjectiveThis research adopts single arm, open, prospective study design, observed Yiqi Chutan formula combined with TKI on quality and safety of histologically or cytologically confirmed, not accept radical surgery or radiotherapy, EGFR mutated nonsmall cell lung cancer.MethodsIn 60 cases of Ⅲ B/stage IV non-small cell lung cancer patients as research object, treated with Yiqi Chutan formula combined with TKI until progress, side effects untolerated or patient demands from the termination. Before and after taking first month and 6 months observed the quality of life and safety on 60 cases of patients survival quality, TCM symptoms, body weight, PS score, side effect.Results60 patients completed the study, including lung Yu phlegm and blood stasis type in 21 cases, spleen deficiency type 19 cases, deficiency of yin and phlegm heat type in 10 cases,10 cases of deficiency of both qi and yin. The Yiqi Chutan formula combined with TKI after 6 months of treatment, quality of life, clinical symptoms curative effect evaluation, weight, PS score improved, the spleen deficiency type than the other three groups improved significantly, some have obvious difference. Drug related toxicity was the most common for Ⅰ-Ⅱ degree of skin rash and diarrhea, no interstitial lung viral reaction was found, no treatment related death.GonclusionYiqi Chutan formula combined with TKI in the treatment of advanced non small cell lung cancer patients with mutations in EGFR, can improve the quality of life and reduce toxicity, spleen deficiency type than the other three groups significantly improved. Yiqi Chutan formula combined with TKI is an effective treatment, Yiqi Chutan formula can be used as the main treatment of lung cancer.
