| Objective1 Introducing the Revised Illness Perception Questionnaire for Dental(IPQ-RD),and translate it,establishing a Chinese version of the IPQ-RD in line with China cultural background,and evaluated its reliability and validity in caregiver of preschool children with dental caries.2 To understand the status of illness perception among caregiver of preschool children with dental caries,and to analyze the influencing factors and their correlation with the influence of oral problems and treatment on the oral health-related quality of life of preschool caries children and caregivers.Method1 Following the basic steps of cross-cultural debugging of the“translation-back-translation-culture debugging-pre-experiment”to translate the English version of the IPQ-RD questionnaire,and a Chinese version of the IPQ-RD questionnaire was established.A sample of 350 preschool children and their caregivers from the Department of Stomatology,Stomatological Hospital of Tianjin Medical University were selected by means of convenient sampling.The Chinese version of the IPQ-RD questionnaire was tested for reliability and validity.The project analysis adopts the critical ratio method,the correlation analysis method and the homogeneity test method for analysis.The validity evaluation uses the content validity,structural validity(exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis)for analysis,and the reliability evaluation adopts internal consistency.Sex test(Cronbach's ? coefficient)and test-retest reliability were analyzed.2 Questionnaire survey was conducted on 552 preschool children and their caregivers of the Children's Stomatology Department of Tianjin Medical University Stomatological Hospital using the General Information Questionnaire,the Chinese version of the IPQ-RD Questionnaire,and the Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale.Data processing was performed using SPSS20.0 software.The general demographic data of preschool children and caregivers are described by frequency and percentage.The Chinese version of the IPQ-RD questionnaire and Early Childhood Oral Health Impact Scale scores are described by mean ±standard deviation.Effects of general demographic data on the perception of illness in caregivers,the two groups were compared and the data were normally distributed.When the variance was homogeneous,the T test was used.When multiple groups were compared and the data were normal,the variance analysis was used;the variance was uneven and the data were skewed.The Mann-Whitney U test and the Kruskal-Wallis H test were used.Result1 Questionnaire translation results The translated questionnaire consists of two parts,the first part of the psychological measurement part of illness perception,8 dimensions,31 items;the second part of the cause measurement part of the illness perception,11 items,all kept with the source questionnaire Consistent.2 Experts' consultation results The questionnaire was sent to by 5 experts.Two experts proposed two amendments.The number of dimensions and the number of item were consistent with the source questionnaire.3 Project analysis results According to the project analysis results,the results of the six items in the project analysis of the questionnaire are in line with the eligibility criteria,that is,the decision value is ?3.00,the item is related to the total score ?0.400,and the correction item is related to the total score ?0.400.The alpha value after the item is deleted ? the alpha of the questionnaire,the commonality ? 0.200,and the factor load ? 0.450.Therefore the result of the entry filter is that none of the dimensions are deleted.4 Validity analysis results 1 Content validity: The validity of single item content is between 0.800 and 1.000,the content validity(S-CVI\Ave)of each item is 0.948,and(S-CVI\UA)is 0.839.2Structural validity: After exploratory factor analysis,8 factors with eigenvalue greater than 1 were obtained,and the cumulative explanatory variation was80.378%.3 Confirmatory factor analysis: The structural equation model is established.The parameters of ?2/df,CFI,TLI,NFI,IFI,RMSEA and so on are all within acceptable standards.5 Reliability analysis results 1 Internal consistency test: The total Cronbach's ?coefficient of the questionnaire is 0.914,and the Cronbach's ? coefficient of each dimension is between 0.808 and 0.997.2 points and half confidence: The correlation coefficient between the two groups is 0.595,and the split-half reliability coefficient is 0.746.3 Test-retest reliability: The correlation coefficient of the total score of the questionnaire is 0.881,and the correlation coefficient of each dimension is 0.632 ~ 0.904,indicating that the questionnaire is stable and the measured results are relatively reliable.6 Cross-sectional survey results The questionnaire with good reliability and validity after Chineseization was applied to the caregivers of 552 preschool children with caries,the total score of the caregiver 's illness perception level was measured between 60 and 147 points.The average score is(101.00 ± 11.28);different gender,age,family members,education level,family monthly income,place of residence,marital status,employment status,whether there are other care experiences,whether there are other oral diseases,whether other members of the family There was a statistically significant difference in the total score of caregiver's illness perception between oral disease,well-maintained oral hygiene,and caregiver's oral health knowledge and attitude(P<0.05).Conclusions1 The Chineseization of the questionnaire strictly follows the Chineseization process of the questionnaire.Based on the expert's correspondence,the project analysis of the questionnaire,and the reliability and validity test,the questionnaire is evaluated.The results show that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity and can be used as a child for preschool caries.An effective tool for caregiver illness perception levels.2 According to the illness perception scores of caregivers of pre-school caries children in China in this study,the illness perception level is good,and the level of illness perception is affected by gender,age,family members,education level,monthly income of family,residence,marital status,employment,Whether there are other care experiences,whether there are other oral diseases,whether other members of the family have oral disease,whether to maintain good oral hygiene practices,and the caregiver's oral health knowledge and attitudes. |
