Fertility is the basis for human survival, reproduction and development.Influenced by the ancient Confucian view of fertility, the encouraging tradition of " The more children, the more blessings" is still deeply rooted in most families in China. However, since the infertility rate among couples of childbearing ages in China is increasing year by year, assisted reproductive technology represented by "test-tube baby",as a means of modern medical technology, can be said to be the "last hope" of infertile families. And this paper focuses on the impact of IVF on infertile patients. But in the news reports about this topic, only a small percentage focused on the patients, most of them pay attention to writing about celebrities' cases, industry rules, capital prospects, etc. Therefore, this paper hopes to take the real experience of ordinary patients as the starting point, and in the form of news features, present the multiple pressures faced by infertility patients,as well as the impact of the use of "test-tube baby" technology on their economic status, marital feelings, physical and mental health. In terms of specific operation, this paper conducted in-depth interviews with three infertility patients who had used the technology of "test-tube baby".Some of them are in the ivf cycle;someone has had children;another failed many times and finally gave up.The author tries to reflect the tedious and time-consuming process of "test-tube baby" by observing the patients who are undergoing the technology of "test-tube baby".Based on communication with patients who have had a transplant and delivered successfully,it is expected to demonstrate the changes in stress that patients experience from infertility to child-rearing.Through interviews with the patient who have failed multiple transplants, the true picture is presented of the high cost of longterm treatment,as well as the dual impact on the marriage and health of the patients. In short,"test-tube baby" technology has brought the possibility of conceiving new life to infertile families, but the multiple pressures borne by infertile patients behind the technology deserve more attention from the society.
