Objective:As a common clinical disease,cough has its origins,etiology and pathogenesis,syndrome,cure and cure,ancient and modern prescriptions.Many scholars have conducted a large number of systematic studies and combing,and the research objects involve various dynasties,regions and medical experts.Most of them are dominated by specific medical doctors or special populations,and there is no systematic review of the medical doctors'thoughts on the treatment of cough disease and the rules of drug compatibility in Jiangsu.Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Medicine,as one of the most distinctive regional medicines,has many local medical schools,and famous doctors come out in large numbers.The medical books written by medical doctors contain many documents related to cough,and have accumulated a large amount of clinical experience and thoughts on the use of medicine..Therefore,it is of great significance to sort out and study the relevant literatures on the treatment of cough disease by physicians in Jiangsu.method:This article focuses on the literature research method,referring to the relevant records in Chen Daojin,Xue Weitao,Jiang su li dai yi ren zhi(Chief Doctors of Jiangsu Dynasties),Xue Qinglu,zhong guo zhong yi gu ji zong mu(China's Ancient Books of Traditional Chinese Medicine),Guo Guochun,zhong guo fen sheng yi ji kao(Chinese Provinces Medical Examinations),sorting out and selecting representatives There are 35 monographs on sex medicine,which sort out and review the content related to cough in each book,and summarize the experience and characteristics of different doctors in different ages in treating cough.At the same time,taking the Menghe Medical School and Wumen Medical School in Jiangsu as the representative,the author made preliminary statistics and analysis on the prescriptions and medical records for treating cough by Menghe and Wumen doctors.Result:1.For the classification of cough,before the Ming Dynasty,the classification of doctors in Jiangsu was relatively simple,and it was mainly based on the symptoms and duration of cough,or according to the different targets of the development and development of the disease,the special groups of cough and common cough were listed.The classification of doctors in the Ming Dynasty was diverse and detailed.Most doctors divided cough into two categories:exogenous cough and endogenous cough.More specifically,they classified according to the symptoms and time of onset of cough.The classification of diseases by the medical doctors of the Ming Dynasty gradually became clearer and more systematic.On this basis,the medical doctors of the Qing Dynasty paid more attention to the identification and treatment of specific diseases,and also emphasized the characteristics of individual diagnosis and treatment.For the diagnosis and treatment of cough,there are mainly symptomatic treatments,treatment by differentiating complicated disease involving both solid-hollow viscera,identifying the etiology,pathogenesis,and medication2.The doctors of the Menghe Medical School and the Wumen Medical School both chose sweet medicines and bitter-pungent medicines in the selection of cough medicines,and the main meridians were the three meridians of the lungs,spleen,and heart.In terms of drug classification,resolving phlegm and stopping cough medicines,Supplementing deficiency medicines are mainly used.Among them,almonds,Poria,Fritillaria,and Licorice are relatively high.This result basically accords with the etiology and pathogenesis of cough in literature research.3.Sorting and categorizing the surviving medical books compiled by doctors in Jiangsu from the pre-Qin period to the end of the Qing Dynasty for thousands of years,the preliminary statistical results are that before the Ming Dynasty doctors wrote 125 medical books and 53 surviving books;the Ming doctors wrote 474 medical books and 210 surviving books;a total of 1938 medical books and 838 surviving books were written by doctors in the Qing Dynasty.4.Jiangsu doctors and their authors are an important part of the history of traditional Chinese medicine.This article summarizes the experience and characteristics of different doctors in different ages in treating cough,and explores their clinical experience and characteristics.It lays a good foundation for the future research on cough syndrome of Jiangsu doctors.
