OBJECTIVE:To investigate the value and clinical significance of optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)in observing the changes of vessel density and thickness in macular area of normal tension glaucoma.METHODS:Twenty patients with normal eyes were included in the experimental group.Twenty patients with normal tension glaucoma eyes were included in the control group.The macular vessel density(Vessel Density VD)and macular retinal thickness(ILM-RPE)measured by OCTA were compared.The change of the optic nerve retinal nerve fiber layer thickness(RNFLT)measured by OCT in the two groups of eyes,and the correlation analysis between each parameter and the mean deviation MD value.RESULTS:The vessel density and the retinal thickness of the macular area in the superior,inferior,foveal and parafoveal areas of the control group and the experimental group were statistically significant,and the differences between the groups were all P <0.05.Compared with the temporal and nasal macular vessel density and retinal thickness of the test group,the differences between the groups were not statistically significant,both were P> 0.05,and there was a statistical difference in the RNFLT between the experiment group and the control group,P < 0.05,the vessel density in the macular area,macular area retinal thickness,RNFLT of the control group and the experimental group in the superior,inferior,foveal and parafoveal areas were linearly negatively correlated with MD value.Conclusion:The macular vessel density,macular retinal thickness,RNFLT measured by OCTA in the superior,inferior,foveal and parafoveal areas are all linearly negatively correlated,all of which have high diagnostic efficacy and instructive in normal tension glaucoma.
