Effect Of Off-site Medical Behavior On Patients' Negative Emotions And Intervention Of Medical Social Workers

Chinese medical field is currently hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system,different kinds of diseases need to be treated in different levels of medical institutions.The diagnosis and treatment of diseases by hospitals in different levels will inevitably lead to more off-site patients in higher-level hospitals.Compared with getting medical treatment in the place of residence,while getting medical treatment in different places,patients lacks the support of social support,psychological support and financial support.Coping with stressful events such as illness and treatment in patients who have been treated off-site usually manifests as more prominent negative emotional problems.The research object of this paper is off-site patients.The core question is whether seeking treatment in other places will lead to the improvement of the negative emotions of the patients and medical social workers' involvement in the negative emotions of the offsite patients.This paper is helpful to deepen the understanding of the emotional problems of the off-site patients,and to provide some practical experience reference for the intervention of medical social workers in the emotional aspects of off-site treatment.This paper hopes to promote the in-depth study of negative emotional problems in offsite patients.In practice,the author found that off-site patients usually have higher negative emotional problems,and thus put forward the research question of whether the off-site patients have higher negative emotions than non-off-site patients and how medical social workers should intervene.In the field of testing whether off-site patients have higher negative emotions than non-off-site patients,this paper uses the 2015 data of CHARLS open data of Peking University,analyzes the intrinsic relationship between off-site medical behavior and negative emotional expression of off-site patients,and establishes the basic regression model by defining off-site medical behavior and constructing negative emotion index(score of CES-D10 scale).Four sets of controlled variables,named demographic characteristics,health characteristics,economic characteristics and family relationship characteristics,are introduced to verify the robustness of the basic regression model,and regression processing is carried out to remove the influence of the non-core variables of the basic regression model.In the practice,OLS,probit and logit methods are respectively used to analyze the basic regression model and the model after the introduction of controlled variables,in order to obtain a sound research conclusion.Regarding how medical social workers should intervene in the negative emotions of off-site patients,this paper is based on the actual experience of intervention in S hospital,based on the theory of strength perspective and social support theory,conducting medical social worker intervention research on the negative emotional problems of off-site patients.The problem involved is the negative emotions of off-site patients,and the targets are the client and the client's family.Due to the younger age of the client and his attachment to his mother,the behavior of the client 's mother has a great impact on the client 's emotions,so it is necessary for medical social workers to intervene in the negative emotion of the client 's mother.In order to solve the negative emotional problems of the clients,medical social workers need to pay attention to the negative emotional problems of the clients themselves,the conflict between mother and child and the lack of peer emotional support of the clients.The negative emotions of the client 's mother have a great impact on the client.The negative emotional problems mainly come from their excessive pressure,the tension between the mother and the child,and the financial difficulties of the client.Among them,the client has developed a large negative emotion due to physical discomfort and difficulty in action.In addition,the unfamiliar environment,excessive negative emotions of his mother and lack of peer care have made the client's psychological pressure excessive.The frequent conflicts with his mother have further aggravated the negative emotions of the client,and made the client's emotions negative and no longer cooperate with the treatment.The negative emotions of the client are the result of a combination of factors.When medical social workers are involved in the negative emotions of the client,they need to pay attention to multiple reasons,stimulate the power of the client,and link the power of multiple parties,to help the client relieve the emotions and restore the psychology health.The description of the specific practice is supplemented by the actual interview data of the author.It is expected that the medical social worker's intervention in the negative emotions of the off-site patients can be fully described as far as possible,and provide a reference for the subsequent negative emotional intervention of the other medical social workers in the off-site patients.Regarding the negative emotional intervention of the client,the medical social worker mainly guides the client to discover his mother 's love,eliminates the misunderstanding between mother and child,and increases the benign communication between mother and child;links volunteer companionship and life support services,increases the frequency of medical social worker service,and guides the client pay attention to the positive aspects of the environment and increase the interest of small classrooms,to alleviate the client's lack of peer support;help the client to accept physical changes.Regarding the negative emotional intervention of the client's mother,the medical social worker first takes the form of letting the client 's mother complain,helping the client 's mother relieve excessive pressure and negative emotions,and guiding the client 's mother to focus on the advantages of the environment.Secondly,guide the client's mother to pay attention to the way of expression,to promote positive communication between mother and child.Finally,regard to the economic pressure of the case,the medical social worker contacted them for funding assistance from platforms such as online fundraising,foundations,and social media.Regard to the insurance that the case has already purchased,the medical social worker reminds the client's parents to reasonably enjoy medical insurance and helps the client's parents to familiarize themselves with the insurance process.When the client was discharged after treatment,the negative emotional problems of the client and his mother were basically resolved.They actively cooperated with the medical treatment and recovery.The interaction between the mother and the child was good,and the intervention of the medical social worker achieved good results.However,some of the negative emotional problems of off-site patients are caused or deepened by their economic problems.Among these patients,it is necessary to pay attention to alleviating the economic pressure of the off-site patients and ultimately help the off-site patients to solve the negative emotional problems.This paper puts forward four suggestions,which are concerned about the medical treatment of off-site patients and provide convenience for patients,clear the professional positioning of medical social workers and improve the professional social work system,give full play to the professional advantages of medical social workers and ease negative emotions,give full play to the advantages of medical social workers' communication to increase doctor-patient communication.
