Objective:A prospective randomized controlled study on safety of intraperitoneal lavage chemotherapy with raltitrexed for advanced cancer Methods:Using a prospective randomized controlled study design method,180 cases of advanced gastric cancer patients were admitted to the department of gastrointestinal surgery of the first affiliated hospital of nanchang university from November 2018 to July 2019.5 cases of gastric cancer patients that did not meet the inclusion criteria were excluded during the operation,175 cases were finally included, including 86 cases in the experimental group and 89 cases in the control group. The experimental group was treated with D2 radical gastrectomy combined with intraoperative intraperitoneal lavage chemotherapy, while the control group was treated with D2 radical gastrectomy alone.Blood toxicity, liver and kidney function indexes, inflammatory indexes, tumor indexes 2 weeks and 3 months after the operation, postoperative complications, postoperative hospitalization days, postoperative gastrointestinal recovery time and other relevant indexes of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:The postoperative complications incidence was 13.14% in the experimental group and 10.29% in the control group. There was no obvious difference between two groups complications(p > 0.05)like bleeding, anastomotic fistula, incision infection, abdominal infection, intestinal obstruction and diarrhea,Those blood indexes which before the operation and date after operation for one day and five days and one month were no statistically significant(p > 0.05).On the 3rd day after the operation, there was notable differences in hepatorenal function and neutrophils between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between hospital stay days after operation, gasdrainage days, defection, extubation and the drainage of three days between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Raltitrexed is safe and feasible for intraperitoneal lavage chemotherapy during radical resection of advanced gastric cancer.
