The professional identity crisis of nurses has become a global problem.Low professional identity can easily lead to high-quality talents away from the clinical nursing team,reduce the overall quality and quantity of nurses,and seriously affect the quality of nursing service and the development of nursing discipline.However,most of the domestic studies on professional identity of nurses adopt quantitative research,and take clinical in-service nurses as the research object,while few studies explore the process of professional identity of departing nurses.Therefore,this study using the narrative method,using purposive sampling to 12 leave nurses as the research object,explore leaving nurses professional identity construction process and trajectory,analyze the factors affecting the development of leave nurses professional identity,and in the process of career identity construction departure nurses’ true feelings,to improve nurses’ career management in our country,increase nurses provide reference for the establishment of professional identity strategy.Based on the analysis of interview data of 12 departing nurses,this study concluded that the factors influencing the professional identity of departing nurses include: the original intention of choosing nursing major,working environment,organizational factors and individual factors of nurses.Study presents four nurses’ professional identity,leaving time for clues to their narrative content summarized as:before enrollment,professional learning period,after the internship,work,left four stages,from specific events,real experience,coping styles and identity status,their professional identity to the four aspects by the construction process.The following conclusions are drawn: the factors influencing the professional identity of departing nurses are diverse;Key events and important others have two sides to construct the professional identity of departing nurses.The professional identity of departing nurses is a dynamic process.The biographical characteristics of the professional identity construction of departing nurses. |
