Objective: The purpose of this study was to probe the correlation between QRS-T angle and heart failure.To probe the diagnosis of heart failure,especially heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction(HFmrEF)and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)The occurrence of heart failure is a continuous pathophysiological process.To improve the diagnosis of heart failure and probe the clinical manifestations of mechanical and electrical remodeling in heart failure.Methods: We retrospectively collected 250 cases zfrom the Cardiology Department of Handan first hospital from September of 2018 to September of 2019 who was hospitalized for cardiovascular disease,heart failure group(n=195)(including heart failure with reduced ejection fraction group,heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction group,heart failure with preserved ejection fraction)and non-chronic heart failure group(n= 55).Statistical analysis was performed between the two groups and between the subgroups.Area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,cut-off value,and logistic regression analysis were used to select the model variables,sensitivity and specificity.Results: In all,250 subjects enrolled into this study were divided in 2 groups: heart failure group(n=195)and non-chronic heart failure group(n= 55).the area under the curve(AUC)and cut-off value of QRS-T angle was 0.886(95% CI 0.845,0.937)and 61.50° respectively.When the ventricular rate,BNP value and LVEF value were entered into the diagnostic model,the AUC,sensitivity and specificity were further increased to 0.991(95% CI 0.982,0.999).Conclusions: This study provides a new indicator for the diagnosis of heart failure.The QRS-T angle was correlated with the accuracy of diagnosing heart failure(including HFmrEF,HFpEF and HFrEF).Using binary logistic regression model to establish the corrected QRS-T angle can improve the accuracy of heart failure.The clinician can preliminarily estimate the condition of heart failure of the patient based on QRS-T angle.
