Survey On The Status Of Scientific Literacy Of Members Of Medical Science And Technology Communities In Jilin Province

Objective:Through the investigation on the status of scientific literacy of the members of Jilin provincial medical science and technology communities,this paper enriches the object of scientific literacy investigation,understands the current situation of scientific literacy level and evaluates its scientific literacy level,determines the factors affecting its scientific literacy and its scientific literacy,gives the countermeasures and suggestions to improve its scientific literacy,verifies and consummates the scientific literacy theory system,and improves the practical application effect of scientific literacy theory.Method:By using the literature research method to carry on the literature retrieval to the key words,including Scientific literacy?the scientific quality,the influence factor of the scientific literacy,the scientific accomplishment,the science and technology community and so on,consults the domestic and foreign related literature about the scientific literacy research,summarizes the domestic and foreign scientific literacy research present situation and the historical dynamic,and combs and analyzes.Using the method of questionnaire survey,the members of Jilin provincial medical science and technology communities were sampled.The contents include three parts: the basic situation,the investigation of the present situation of scientific literacy and the investigation of the influencing factors of scientific literacy.IBM SPSS 24.0 was used for statistical analysis.The quantitative data are tested by t,qualitative data are tested by ?2 and multi-factor analysis are tested by correlation and regression analysis,analysis of access to information and scientific literacy,use of popular science facilities and scientific literacy,participation in public science and technology affairs and scientific literacy,interest in science and technology information and scientific literacy,attitude towards science and technology andscience The relationship between learning quality,participation in popular science activities and scientific quality and the degree of closeness.and the test criteria were statistically significant with P<0.05.Results:1.The proportion of men and women in the membership is about 1:1,20-30 years,23.58%,31-40 years,31.03%;62.6% for undergraduate and 19.92% for master's degrees;16.8% for clinical medicine and 26.15% for nursing;21.27% for doctors;34.96% for nursing;35.5% for primary and 27.24% for intermediate titles.Members of the overall high education,young and middle-aged,clinical first-line workers.The lowest score of scientific quality survey was 53 points,the highest score was 88 points,0-59 points 8 people,accounting for 1.09%;60-69 points 279 people,accounting for 37.86%;70-79 points 407 people,accounting for 55.22%;80-88 points43 people,accounting for 5.83%.2.Single factor analysis was carried out on the differences of the scores of each dimension of scientific literacy of the members of different characteristic associations.The results showed that there was no statistical difference among the four connotation dimensions of scientific literacy(P>0.05).It shows that the scores of each dimension of scientific literacy of the members of different characteristic societies do not show significant differences and are more consistent.3.Single factor analysis was carried out on the scientific literacy scores of the members of different characteristic societies,and the results showed that the position of the members had statistical difference for the scientific literacy scores(P<0.05).indicating that the scientific quality scores of community members in different jobs will show differences.4.The correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis of the influencing factors of scientific literacy of community members,the results show that the channels of obtaining scientific and technological information,the use of popular science facilities,the degree of interest in scientific and technological information,the attitude towards science and technology,and the participation in popular science activities can have a significant positive influence on the scientific literacy of community members.Conclusion:1.According to the evaluation standard of Chinese citizen's scientific literacybenchmark and referring to the international general scientific literacy evaluation standard system,the members of Jilin provincial medical science and technology communities with scientific literacy account for 98.91% of the total.the proportion level is higher.2.There are significant differences in the scientific literacy of community members in different jobs,and the overall scientific literacy level of doctors,nurses and auxiliary department staff is higher than that of administrative staff.3.The access to scientific and technological information,the use of popular science facilities,the degree of interest in scientific and technological information,the attitude towards science and technology,and the participation in popular science activities have a significant positive impact on the scientific literacy of the members of the community.The more channels for obtaining scientific and technological information,the higher the utilization rate of popular science facilities,the higher the degree of interest in scientific and technological information,the more objective the attitude towards science and technology,the higher the participation rate of popular science activities,and the higher the level of scientific literacy.4.Medical science and technology community members should enhance their professional knowledge and personal scientific literacy to the same important position,actively participate in the construction and development of the association,broaden access to scientific and technological information channels,use relevant science and technology facilities,give play to the advantages of changing thinking to promote the overall development of individuals,correct the attitude of science and technology,use relevant platforms to actively participate in science popularization activities,and then improve the quality of medical system services.
