Objective Since the reform and opening up,China's economic gets rapid growth.China's construction has achieved world-renowned achievements and achieved leap-forward development, which is inseparable from the contribution of China's rural migrant population. As the key to the issues of agriculture, rural population and rural area, the rural population has always been the focus of social attention.Under the urban-rural dual economic structure, rural migrants are at a disadvantage in terms of employment and income due to factors such as household registration system, education level, and differences in sanitary conditions. As a basic condition for rural migrants to obtain labor opportunities,it is particularly important to have good health. This paper analyzes the relationship between rural migrant population health and employment, income by analyzing the health status of rural migrants, and provides suggestion for public decision-making departments to formulate relevant policies. Methods The study use the China Nutrition and Health Survey(CHNS)data, and selecte 3,089 floating populations in rural or county towns in 2006,2009,and 2011.In this paper, prevalence of injury and disease in the past four weeks, severity of disease, body mass index(BMI)and height are used to measure the health status, and blood pressure and common diseases are selected to describe the health status. In terms of employment, choose whether to employment, the type of employment, and whether to be employed after retired, whether to engage in small handicraft industry or small business to supplement the employment situation. In terms of income, choose to calculate the per capita income of the family at the price of 2011,and use the remuneration, small family Handicraft or small business income, etc.to supplement. The data was compiled and statistically described using Stata14.0 software, regression was performed using OLS and Tobit methods, and robustness analysis was performed on the regression results.Results(1)In rural areas, the prevalence of injury and disease in the past four weeks in women is higher than men.The probability of he prevalence of injury and disease in the past four weeks increases with age.The severity of disease is the severity of women's disease is higher than men,the severity of the disease increases with age.In terms of height, the average height of men is higher than that of women, and the height of young people is higher than that of older people. In blood pressure, men's blood pressure is higher than that of women's blood pressure, and blood pressure increases with age.(2)The study on the employment situation of rural migrants found that in terms of gender, the employment ratio of men is higher than that of women;in terms of age,the proportion of employment gradually decreases with age;in terms of marital status, the employment ratio of married people is higher than unmarried and other people;in terms of education level, the higher the education level, the higher the proportion of employment;the proportion of children who look after children last week is lower than that of unattended people. In the study of the analysis of the factors affecting the health of rural migrants on employment, the results obtained by OLS regression and Tobit regression method are basically the same, and the regression robustness is good.Disease severity and height are the health influencing factors of employment(P<0.01).According to the analysis, the severity of the disease is a factor affecting employment. The marginal effect calculated by the Tobit method is-0.0061.indicating that the disease severity is lower, the employment is better;Height is one of the factors affecting income, the marginal effect is-0.005,indicating that the lower the height, the better the employment situation. When analyzing the related factors affecting the health of rural migrants on occupational burden, the results obtained by OLS regression and Tobit regression method are basically the same, and the regression robustness is good.Disease severity and height indicators are health effects of occupational burden(p<0.01).The severity of the disease is a factor affecting the type of employment. The marginal effect is-0.238,indicating that the higher the severity of the disease, the lighter the occupational burden of the respondent;the height is one of the factors affecting the occupational burden, and the marginal effect is-0.006,indicating that the height is higher, the occupational burden is heavier.(3)A study on the income of rural migrants finds that,in terms of gender, men's income level is lower than that of women;in terms of age, income has a inverted “V” shape with increasing age, first increasing and then decreasing;in terms of marital status,The income level of married people is lower than that of unmarried and other people;in terms of education level, the higher education level, the higher income level;in terms of caring for children last week, the income level of child care is lower than that of unattended people. When analyzing the related factors of rural migrant population health's income, the results obtained by OLS regression and Tobit regression method are basically the same, and the regression robustness is good.Disease severity and height are health effects of income(P<0.01).According to the analysis, the severity of the disease is a factor affecting the type of employment. The marginal effect is-0.238,indicating that the lower the severity of the disease, the higher the income of the respondents.Height is one of the factors affecting the type of employment. The marginal effect is-0.020,indicating that the heigh is higher, the income is higher. Conclusion Through the above analysis,in terms of the health effects of rural migrants' employment and income, the severity of disease and height have a significant impact on the employment and income of rural migrants. This paper proposes to improve the health status of rural migrants from the following three aspects.First, strengthen health promotion and education, and vigorously promote health promotion.Second, strengthen the coverage of health resources, promote women's health and social fairness.Third, continue to deepen the reform of the household registration system, and remove institutional barriers that limit social equity.
