In the context of a modern risk society,AIDS,as a global health risk, often appears in mass media reports.A risk society is a highly mediaized society. The mass media has a lasting and extensive influence in defining, interpreting and constructing modern risks. As an important channel for transmitting risk information,in order to reduce the public panic caused by the AIDS risk and avoid itself becoming an expansion station and speaker of this risk, the mass media will necessarily selectively highlight or downplay some aspects of the AIDS issue. Therefore, the issue of AIDS risk in the mass media is constructive. It is this kind of constructiveness that makes it possible to study the realistic picture presented by the mass media in this risk report through the relevant texts of the AIDS risk issue.Based on the theory of risk communication, this study takes the People ’s Daily ’s 2009-2018 report on AIDS risk issues as the research object, and analyzes the characteristics and strategies of constructing AIDS risk issues in the mass media represented by the People ’s Daily. In this research, the research method of content analysis is used.In addition, frame theory,as a theory of construction perspective, also provides methodological support for this research. Finally, this study examines the basic situation of the People’s Daily AIDS report under the content analysis path, and the use of relevant reports on the risk issue framework, the news general framework, and the news structure framework under the framework analysis path, and analyzes the media construction AIDS risk issues.Reporting trends and risk communication status, and summed up the reporting logic of the People’s Daily AIDS risk issue.Specifically, the results of this study are as follows:First of all, under the content analysis path, from the perspective of report form, the People ’s Daily AIDS risk report shows a decline in risk attention, shaping serious issues from a macro perspective, focusing on facts and supplementing views; From the perspective of report content, the risk report has the characteristics of anauthoritative risk definer and diversified risk content.Secondly, under the framework analysis path, from the perspective of the use of the risk issue framework in related reports, the risk regulation issue framework is the most used framework in the People’s Daily’s AIDS risk report. Moreover, from a diachronic perspective, the risk control issue framework in the People’s Daily’s AIDS report generally shows an upward trend, while the use of the risk event framework and risk reflection issue framework show a general downward trend.Judging from the use of the general news framework by relevant reports, the most popular general news framework for AIDS risk reporting in the People’s Daily is the responsibility framework and the state of affairs framework, and the responsibility framework is significantly related to the risk regulation topic framework. The most relevant link is the issue framework, and the conflict framework has a clear link with the risk reflection issue framework.Judging from the use of the news structure framework in related reports, the People ’s Daily AIDS risk report is more inclined to use the plot framework than the issue framework in the text organization framework and the governance framework in the main body of the report. In addition, mobilization frameworks, research frameworks and care frameworks are also important components of HIV risk issues, while attribution frameworks are not widely used. Finally, according to the basic situation of the AIDS risk report of the People’s Daily and the use of the framework,it is concluded that the media’s dissemination logic on this risk issue is: First, the intensified use of authoritative sources, the media has maintained the status of risk definers for government officials and experts and scholars in the issue of AIDS risk.Second, the construction of the risk issue of "politicization".In the AIDS risk issue of "People’s Daily",risk is presented as a "political" issue, while the AIDS issue in the "medical" context rarely enters the media vision.Third, the simple attribution of complex risks. The related reports in foreign countries present a typical unified attribution model.Although the attributions of related domestic reports are more diverse, they still inevitably stay at the level of general discussion, invisible Weakened the risk of transmission of AIDS itself and the risk of infection by dangerous sex actors.Fourth, the concealment and hiding of risks.Reports show a controllable risk picture, but rarely show the perspectives of various stakeholders in risk communication. |
