Correlation Between MiRNA-1285 Expression And Clinic Pathological Characteristics In Ovarian Cancer

Objective: To investigate the expression of mi RNA-1285 in epithelial ovarian cancer and to study the correlation between the expression of mi RNA-1285 and the clinicopathological characteristics of epithelial ovarian cancer.Methods: The study group consisted of 59 patients who had received surgical treatment in the gynecology department of Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from July2017 to December 2019 and were pathologically confirmed with epithelial ovarian cancer.Their complete clinical and follow-up data were collected.Their ovarian cancer tissues during the operation were retained,and plasma samples were taken 3 days before the operation and 1 week after the operation for all cases in the study group.The control group consisted of 45 patients with benign ovarian epithelial tumors from the same hospital,all of which were surgically treated and confirmed by pathology.Their ovarian tumor tissues and plasma samples 3 days before the operation were retained.Through real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR(RT-q PCR)technology,the small nuclear gene U6 was selected as the internal reference gene,and the expression of mi RNA-1285 and its differences in histological and plasma samples was detected and compared in both groups.Finally,the correlation between the expression of mi RNA-1285 and the clinicopathological characteristics of epithelial ovarian cancer was studied.Results: 1.The expression of mi RNA-1285 in the epithelial ovarian cancer tissues of the study group was significantly lower than the benign ovarian tumor tissue of the control group(P < 0.05).The expression of mi RNA-1285 in the preoperative plasma of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05).2.The expression of mi RNA-1285 was consistent in the ovarian cancer tissues and plasmas in the study group(P < 0.05).3.The expression of mi RNA-1285 in the postoperative plasma was higher than that in the preoperative plasma in the study group(P < 0.05).4.The expression of mi RNA-1285 in ovarian cancer tissues and plasma in the study group was correlated with the surgical pathological stage,lymph node metastasis,ascites volume and positive cytology of ascites(all P<0.05).The expression of mi RNA-1285 did not correlate with age,pathological type,and distant metastasis(all P > 0.05).Conclusion: The expression of mi R-1285 in epithelial ovarian cancer was negatively correlated with surgical pathological stage,lymph node metastasis,ascites volume and positive ascites cytology,suggesting that mi RNA-1285 can inhibit effect on the development of epithelial ovarian cancer.
