Objective:According to the physical examination report of civil servants of jilin public security department in the first hospital of jilin university in 2018,the prevalence rate of metabolic syndrome and the correlation between each component and blood uric acid level were analyzed to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome.Methods:The physical examination data of 1,080 civil servants in service and retired civil servants in the public security department of jilin province in 2018 were collected.Patients with cirrhosis,liver and kidney failure,hematologic disease,malignant tumor,autoimmune disease,severe infection with cirrhosis and other diseases,and those who took uric-promoting drugs for the past three months were excluded.Among them,626 had complete data and met the inclusion criteria.Conduct questionnaire physical examination and related laboratory examination.Metabolic syndrome was diagnosed according to the diagnostic criteria of MS revised by the international diabetes federation(IDF)in April 2005,and hyperuricemia was diagnosed according to the diagnosticcriteria agreed by Chinese experts on hyperuricemia and gout treatment in 2013.SPSS24.0 statistical software was used to analyze the study data to the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and the correlation between each component of metabolic syndrome and uric acid level.Results:(1)The prevalence of MS in this study population was 26.84%.Among them,the prevalence rate was 29.28% for males and 20.54% for females.The proportion of males in the MS group was significantly higher than that in the female study population.There was a difference in the prevalence rate of MS in different ages.(2)The study population was divided into MS group and non-MS group.The proportion of males in MS group was significantly higher than that of females.Age,BMI,WC,SBP,DBP,TG,TC,LDL-C,FBG,smoking rate and alcohol consumption rate of the MS group were all higher than those of the non-MS group,and the proportion of HDL-C was lower than that of the non-MS group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).(3)The study population was divided into the normal uric acid group and the high uric acid group,and the proportion of males in the high uric acid group was significantly higher than that of females(P<0.05).The BMI,WC,SBP,DBP,TG,TC and creatinine ratio of the high uric acid group were all higher than that of the normal uric acid group,and the HDL-C ratio was lower thanthat of the normal uric acid group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).(4)There was a significant linear correlation between serum uric acid level and BMI,WC,SBP,DBP,FBG,TC,TG(P<0.05).Serum uric acid level was negatively correlated with HDL-C(P<0.05).(5)According to blood uric acid levels,using quartile method will be the research object is divided into four groups: women,four groups of uric acid concentration in the central obesity rates were 5.41%,8.11%,13.51%,15.68%,the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)in male centrality obesity rate was 9.30% in turn four groups of uric acid concentration,12.24%,13.15%,13.6%,the difference between groups was statistically significant(P< 0.05)in women order of four groups of uric acid concentration and elevated triglycerides rate is 4.32%,5.41%,7.03%,11.89%,and the differences between the four groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The rate of triglyceride increase in the uric acid concentration of the four groups was 7.26%,10.88%,12.7%,and 16.78% in men(P<0.05).The decrease rate of HDL in each group was 0.541 %,1.62%,2.35%,2.82%.The difference between the four groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The decrease rate of HDL in each group was 0.68%,0.907%,1.13%,2.49%,and the difference between the four groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05)6.8%,7.71%,8.62%,11.79%,and the difference between the four groups wasstatistically significant(P<0.05).The rate of blood pressure rise in the female group was 5.41%,9.19%,11.89%,15.14%,and the difference between the four groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The rate of blood pressure rise in the male group was 13.15%,15.19%,17.46%,18.14%,and the difference between the four groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)According to the number of MS components,the subjects were divided into four groups: 0,1,2and3,among them,with different number of MS components between blood uric acid level significant difference between groups.(7)Hyperuricemia was set as the dependent variable,and gender,age,BMI,WC,SBP,DBP,creatinine,TG,FBG were set as the independent variable.The results of binary multivariate logistic regression analysis suggested that Elevated waist circumference,high creatinine,high TG and high fasting blood glucose were risk factors for hyperuricemia,while high HDL was a protective factor.(8)With the presence of metabolic syndrome as the dependent variable and uric acid level as the independent variable,age and gender confoundments were adjusted for binary multivariate Logistic regression analysis.The results showed that uric acid level was an independent risk factor for MS,and the risk of MS increased with the increase of uric acid(OR value 1.004,95%CI:1.002-1.007).Conclusion:(1)The prevalence of MS in public servants in public security department of jilin province is high,which is significantly correlated with age,obesity,blood glucose,blood lipid and blood.(2)Hyperuricemia was significantly associated with the prevalence of MS.Serum uric acid level was an independent risk factor for MS and was closely related to an important component of MS.(3)The study population for the civil servants,relatively high education level,health awareness is relatively strong,disease detection rate is relatively high,this study suggests MS was associated with a significant blood uric acid,therefore,should actively prevent MS at the same time,attaches great importance to the blood uric acid level change,take effective measures to control the blood uric acid level,thereby reducing the occurrence of complications and improve the quality of life.
