Xunjiang Medical Science has a long history. For thousands of years, many famous doctors have been born.Li Chan is one of them.Li Chan was listed as one of the ten famous ancient doctors in Jiangxi Province. He had practiced medicine in Jiangxi and Fujian. He was skilled in medicine, saved countless people and had high prestige. He was loved by the people in both places. He wrote books and wrote theories in his later years. After four or five years,he compiled "Introduction to Medicine" from his personal knowledge and experience, which affected the whole field of traditional Chinese medicine. This paper takes Li Chan and "Introduction to Medicine" as the research object, studies and collates Li’s Acupuncture and Moxibustion Collection in depth. The research method adopted is to collate his theory of acupuncture and moxibustion on the basis of reading "Introduction to Medicine",mark one by one, carefully analyze, consult relevant literature, classify, sort out his theoretical knowledge system of acupuncture and moxibustion, and explore.Find out the method of syndrome differentiation and treatment, and clarify the thinking of diagnosis and treatment, and finally achieve the purpose of discussing Li’s academic thought of acupuncture and moxibustion and tapping its clinical experience of acupuncture and moxibustion,in order to provide reference for clinical and literature research of acupuncture and moxibustion. It is found that Li Chan’s theory of acupuncture and moxibustion not only advocates classics, but also has its own characteristics of personal innovation. In the aspect of introducing medical practice,Li emphasized that Confucianism should be used as a general practitioner, reading rationally, meditating on Tao and caring for humanity;in the aspect of basic theory of acupuncture and moxibustion,Li Chan emphasized meridians and collaterals, clearing Zang and zang-fu organs, combing 14 meridians starting and stopping points and extraordinary points, supplementing and perfecting the "general theory of Zang-fu separation";in the aspect of clinical diagnosis,he paid attention to the combination of four diagnostic methods and observation of shape. The method of color, audition and audition, especially the method of emphasizing pulse, combines pulse diagnosis with observation of various forms, accurately diagnoses, predicts prognosis, and emphasizes that the treatment of disease must be based on the principle. In the treatment of acupuncture, the method of "main point, corresponding point" and "main needle and corresponding needle" are proposed, which enriches the theory of acupoint opening and closing and the method of meridian flow injection, especially in reinforcing and reducing by acupuncture. On the other hand, great efforts have been made.On the basis of the classical compound needling method, combined with breathing and yin-yang,the method of invigorating and reducing with Ying and Yang has been put forward, and the three methods of reinforcing and reducing with different points and needling sweat, vomiting and lowering have been originally invented. In the treatment of moxibustion, moxibustion and moxibustion have been advocated to nourish the health with heat syndrome, and the technology of umbilical cord refining has been innovated and standardized Umbilical cord formula;in the prevention of disease, advocate prevention before disease, put forward the view that health is "heart-nourishing",advocate appropriate movement, suggest that people often conduct guidance and outdoor exercise, avoid using medicine to keep health, think that moxibustion is a good means of health.Li Chan also has clear ideas on the standardization of medical practice and the cultivation of medical ethics. He called on doctors to uphold dignity and conscience throughout their lives, and always put all efforts to help vulnerable groups and save lives in the first place. The medical practitioners are required to have perseverance, read wisely and advocate classics;treat knowledge with humility and eagerness to learn,be diligent in questioning,do a good job in diagnosing diseases, and be courteous and virtuous. They are not greedy for money,do not seek fame, pay attention to medical science, and keep good skills.
