This dissertation is composed of four chapters,in which the chemical constituents of three plants,Horsfieldia kingii,Knema elegans,Rose chinensis Jacq had been phytochemically investigated.In chapter 4,the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Rose were reviewed.From above three kinds of plants a total of 80 compounds were isolated and identified,including 11 new compounds.Horsfieldia kingii is an important woody plant of the family Myristicaceae.The seeds of H.kingii are good resource of significant industrial oil.Main research focused on those oil,while the research on branches and leaves were rare.However,a series of novel 1,3-diarylpropane dimer compounds were isolated from the branches and leaves of H.kingii in 2018 by our group.Moreover,H.tetratepala merges into Horsfieldia kingii in 2019,which urged us to carry out the isolation of secondary metabolism from H.kingii.The twigs of H.kingii collected from different areas were subjected to phytochemical analysis.22 compounds were separated and purified by CC over silica gel,RP-18 silica gel,MCI,Sephadex LH-20,and HPLC.With NMR and other spectroscopic methods,these compounds elucidated as horsfielnidine D?1?,horsfielenidine E?2?,horsfielene M?3?,epiphyllocoumarin?4?,chrysotoxine?5?,erianin?6?,3',4',7-trihydroxyflavanone[2,2'-bis-(3,4-dihydroxy-phenyl]-7,7'-dihydro-xy-2,3,2',3'-tatrahydro-[3,3']bichromenyl-4,4'-dione?7?,8,8?-bis-?dihydroconiferyl?-diferuloylate?8?,3?,4?,7-trihydroxyflavone?9?,luteolin?10?,quercetin?11?,5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-3-methoxyflavone?12?,quercetin-3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranoside?13?,sulfuretin?14?,horsfielenidine F?15?,?-?-?2R,3R?-3-?3'',4''-dihydroxybenzyl?-2-?4'-hy droxy-3'-methoxybenzyl?butyrolactone?16?,matairesinol?17?,horsfielenidine C?18?,horsfielenidine B?19?,3-oxo-?-ionol-?-D-glucopyranoside?20?,methy-3,4-dihydro-xybenzoate?21?,protocatechuic acid?22?.Compounds 1,2 and 15 are new lignans.Compounds 4-13,16,20-21,were obtained from this genus for the first time.Knema elegans belongs to the Myristicaceae family.K.elegans and H.kingii may be similar in chemical composition.As a traditional Chinese medicinal material,its bark and seeds have been used to treat oral and throat pain,skin diseases,etc.So far,only phytochemical research has been conducted on the Knema elegans trunks produced in Thailand.In order to find the bioactive compounds from this traditional plant,a sample collectedin Mengla County,Xishuangbanna Prefecture,Yunnan Province.Branches and leaves were studied.A total of 50 compounds were separated and purified,and their structures were identified by spectroscopy techniques such as1H-NMR and 13C-NMR.The compounds were elucidated as knemavone A?1??,knemavone B?2??,virolane?3??,1-?2?-hydroxy-4?-methoxyphenyl?-3-?4??-hydroxy-3??-methoxyphenyl?–propane?4??,1-?2?,4?-dihydroxy-3?-methoxyphenyl?-3-?2??-meth-oxy-4??,5??-methylenedioxyphenyl?–propan?5??,?2R,4R?-4?-hydroxy-3?-methyl-6,7-methylenedioxy-4-O-2?-cycloflavan?6??,7-hydroxy-8-methyl-3?,4?-methyleneflavan?7??,7,2?-dihydroxy-6,8-dirwthyl-4?,5?-methylenedioxyflavan?8??,7-methoxy-2?-hy-droxy-4?,5?-methylenedioxyflatwn?9??,7-hydroxy-3?,4?-methyleneflavan?10??,7,4?-dihydroxy-3?-methoxyflavan?11??,genistein?12??,tectorigenin?13??,biochanin acid?49??,methy-3,4-dihydroxybenzoate?50??.Compounds 1?and 2?are new diarylpropane compound,compound 7?is a new flavan,Compound 25?is a new flavanone,Compounds 34?and 35?are new tetrahydrofuran lignans,Compounds 40?and 41?are new butane lignans.All the above compounds were obtained from this genus for the first time.R.chinensis Jacq is a Rosa plant and is distributed in most parts of the country.The flowers of Rose chinensis Jacq were a well-known tradition Chinese medicine“meiguihua”.The chemical composition of Rose chinensis Jacq purchased from the Chinese medicine market of Kunming was studied.Eight compounds were separated and purified,and their structures were identified by NMR and other spectral techniques.The compounds are butylparaben?1???,butyl protocatechuate?2???,n-butyl gallate?3???,?+?-isololiolide?4???,rel-?3R,3'S,4R,4'S?-3,-3',4,4'-tetrahydro-6,6'-dimethoxy[3,3'-bi-2H-benzopyran]-4,4'-diol?5???,?+?-pinoresinol?6???,1-O-?9Z,12Z-octadecadienoyl?glycerol?7???,indole-3-carboxylic acid?8???,compounds 1??-3??,5??,8??were obtained from this genus for the first time.Finally,the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Rose were reviewed.
