Background Long non-coding RNAs(lncRTNAs)are a new focus in cardiovascular diseases.Although lncRNAs have no protein coding capacity,they are important in epigenetics as well as in regulating gene expression,playing a significant role in various cardiovascular diseases.In the current study,we investigated the roles of lncRNA-NRF and LIPCAR in heart failure(HF)post acute myocardial infraction(AMI)and expected to find a new biomarker for early detection of the disease.Objective To explore the circulating levels of NRF and LIPCAR in HF after AMI group and Non-HF after AMI group different in time points,to evaluate diagnostic value and the expression trend,provide more theoretical basis and further research of mechanism.Methods Real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was used to test the expression of lncRNA-NRF in venous blood.The relationship between lncRNA-NRF and LIPCAR expression and clinicopathologic characteristics of patients with AMI was analyzed to estimate whether it was involved in HF development.Then,potential diagnostic and values were evaluated via receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve regression analysis,respectively.Results lncRNA-NRF was shown to be increased in AMI patients with HF compared with AMI patients without HF,and reached a peak in intraprocedural and gradually returnedto base line levels at 3 days.It had a high diagnostic value for HF(AUC: 0.975),while the AUC for N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)was 0.720.In contrast to the patients Non-HF after AMI,the expression level of LIPCAR in the patients with HF after AMI was the highest in immediately diagnosis,and decreased post percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),but the patients without heart failure post myocardial infarction peaked at4 hours after operation.It had high diagnostic value,with an AUC of 0.994,In addition,it was related to the diagnostic of HF.Conclusion LncRNA-NRF and LIPCAR was increased in HF post AMI,and might be an independent diagnostic indicator in the disease.
