Objective:To conclude the clinical characteristics and prognosis of patients with hypereosinophilia or hypereosinophilic syndrome of different causes.Methods:The clinical data of 34 cases with HE or HES,who were admitted to the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from Jan.2017 to Dec.2018,were collected and analyzed,including their age,sex,laboratory tests,different causes.And I also compare the prognosis of the disease of different causes.Results:Male patients had a higher prevalence of HE and HES,and occurrence ratio of male and female was 1.6:1,their ages range from twenty to sixty-seven,median age was 38.5,and the middle course was 5.4 months.Peripheral eosinophil count elevated in the 34 patients.The disease of different causes had a different prognosis,The marjority of the patients with HE or HES have a good prognosis,32.35% of the patients were cured,and50.00% of them were improved,while a few cases' s prognosis was bad.The factors influencing the prognosis were WBC(P=0.01)and PLT(P=0.00).Conclusion:The morbidity of the disease does not range from different age or different sex.The prognosis of patients with high WBC or low PLT is poor.Many diseases can cause theHE or HES.The marjority of the patients with HE or HES have a good prognosis,while a few cases' s prognosis is bad.Treatments according to different causes can effectively relieve symptoms and reduce peripheral eosinophils count.
