Objective:To evaluate the clinical characteristics of Hemodynamics in elderly patients with hypertension and to explore the relationship between cardiac function, peripheral vascular resistance and serum homocysteine(Hcy),lipid levels in elderly patients with hypertension. Methods:From October 2017 to March 2019,126 hypertension patients aged ≥60 years in the Department of Geriatrics of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were selected as the hypertension group, and 107 health examinees aged ≥60 years as the control group. The serum HCY and Lipid levels were measured in the two groups, and the basic information such as name, sex, age, body mass index(BMI),history of smoking, history of alcohol abuse were collected.Cardiac function and peripheral vascular resistance were recorded by noninvasive Hemodynamics:cardiac output(CO),stroke volume(SV),stroke systemic vascular resistance(SSVR),systemic vascular resistance(SVR),left cardiac stroke work(LSW),left ventricular ejection time(LVET),and so on.Using SPSS 20.0 statistical software, the normal distribution and the homogeneity of variance of the measurement data are tested. The measurement data of the normal distribution are expressed by the mean±standard deviation(x ±s).The measurement data of the non-normal distribution are transformed by natural logarithm, independent sample t test was used for comparison between the two groups. The enumeration data were expressed by χ 2 test.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between cardiac function, peripheral vascular resistance and serum homocysteine(Hcy),lipid levels in hypertension group.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.The levels of HCY,TC,triglyceride and LDL-C in hypertension group were higher than those in control group(p<0.05),and the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were lower than those in control group(p<0.05).2.The parameters of peripheral vascular resistance(SSVR)and systemic resistance(SVR)in hypertension group were higher than those in control group(p<0.05),cardiac function parameters, cardiac output(CO),stroke volume(SV),left ventricular stroke work(LSW)and left ventricular ejection time(Lvet)were lower in the control group(p<0.05).3.Pearson Correlation Analysis showed that CO was negatively correlated with Hcy,TC,LDL-C,SV was negatively correlated with Hcy,LSW was negatively correlated with Hcy,LDL-C,LVET was negatively correlated with Hcy,and SSVR was positively correlated with Hcy,TC,TG,LDL-C,sVR was positively correlated with Hcy,TC,TG,LDL-C,and negatively correlated with HDL-C.Conclusion:In elderly patients with hypertension, cardiac function decreases and peripheral vascular resistance increases, and this abnormal changes in Hemodynamics are closely related to HCY and lipid levels.
