| ObjectivesVirtue of bravery is an inherent character with "courage" as the core and closely related to other virtues,which is restricted by reason and morality and plays a positive role in promoting the development of individual,society and country.The modern interpretation of Virtue of bravery refers to the moral subject can qualify itself for the moral will while it is in danger,difficulties and other moral circumstances,can actively face the danger,overcome difficulties,act with courage and determination after deep consideration,can resist selfish desires and personal weakness,and devoted to work.Due to the particularity of the medical industry,it is of great significance to cultivate the courage and morality of medical students,which is not only related to the professional accomplishment of medical students,but also related to the development of medical treatment cause and the society life and personal health.The purpose of this study is to explore the self-awareness and clinical practice of courageous virtue of medical students in Shanxi Province by combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.It also analyzes and expounds the important value of the cultivation of courageous virtue,explores the cultivation path of courageous virtue,provides theoretical reference for the cultivation of courageous virtue,and enriches the depth and breadth of medical moral education theory.Methods1.Firstly,through the literature analysis method,the existing research results are organized and summarized to understand the current research status of courageous virtue to provide a theoretical basis for this research.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was carried out among the medical college students in Shanxi Province,including the basic information,the psychological structure of courageous virtue,and the intention of courageous virtue’s cultivation path.Finally,we use the semi-structured interview method to interview the medical staff with clinical teaching experience to understand their views on the importance,status,problems and implementation strategies of the cultivation of medical students’ courageous virtue,so as to provide empirical basis and support for the construction of the cultivation of medical students’ courageous virtue.2.SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis of the questionnaire data.Results1.The result of the survey shows that the self-cognition level of courageous virtue of medical students is different among different genders,grades,birthplaces and majors,but the overall level is relatively optimistic.2.The practice of courageous virtue is worrying,and some medical students have a lack of sense of responsibility and faith.Improper words and deeds,reckless carelessness and so on.3.Medical students have affirmed the effect of moral cultivation in various courses,among which the moral cultivation mode combined with practice is more popular among students.In the internship stage,75.18% of the students think that clinical teachers can play an exemplary role.Conclusions1.There is a wide gap between knowledge and practice of medical students’ courageous virtue,it proves that the cultivation of courage and morality is imminent and imperative.2.According to the results of the investigation,combined with the modern medical background,it is concluded that cultivating the courage of justice,wisdom,self-confidence and tolerance of medical students helps to shape their resolute character,bold and decisive thinking temperament,self-breakthrough innovative spirit and people-oriented benevolence of doctor.In addition,medical students should also have indomitable psychological resilience and belief that remain true to the original aspiration in order to become persistent soldiers in white on the long road of medical treatment.In a word,courageous virtue is of great value for medical students to grow into great doctors to engage medical treatment.3.We can explore the cultivation path of courageous virtue from the two aspects of campus curriculum platform and cultural atmosphere.It is proposed to integrate and standardize the cultivation of courage and morality in ideological and political courses,medical humanities,physical education and medical students’ practice,and to integrate the spirit of courage and morality in the inheritance of university spirit and culture,the construction of environmental culture and the expansion of cultural activities to realize the formation of medical students’ concept of courageous virtue. |
