Research purpose:To compare the difference of risk factors and MR characteristics between the first single and multiple ischemic stroke, and to explore the value of these factors in clinical prevention and treatment.Materials and Methods:By retrospective study,421 patients with acute stroke were collected from January2018 to January 2020 in Chengdu Qingbaijiang District People's Hospital. The following patients were excluded,145 patients with recurrent stroke,53 patients were unable to cooperate with MRA or with poor MRA artifact interference,33 patients with stroke caused by skull trauma, intracranial tumor and other diseases, patient history or laboratory Among 27 cases with insufficient data. Finally 163 cases were screened out.Among them, there were 92 patients(group A)with the first single stroke, with the average age of 67.46 ± 13.03 years, including 44 males and 48 females;71 patients(group B)with the first multiple stroke, with the average age of 69.35± 13.06 years, including 42 males and 29 females. At the same time, the imaging data, medical records and laboratory examination data were analyzed.Single factor analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to compare the risk factors and MR characteristics of first-episode single stroke and multiple stroke.Result:1.The incidence of risk factors in group A was 66.30% for hypertension,42.39%for vascular abnormality,35.87% for hypertriglyceridemia,29.35% for smoking,25.00% for diabetes,25.00% for drinking and 22.83% for homocysteine. In group B,the risk factors were vascular abnormality(84.50%),hypertension(73.24%),alcoholism(36.62%),smoking(35.21%),diabetes(30.99%),homocysteine(22.83%)and hypertriglyceridemia(18.31%).There was significant difference between group A and B in vascular abnormality and hypertriglyceridemia(P < 0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the composition of age group and the grade of hypertension between group A and group B(P > 0.05).3.The statistical results of MR characteristics showed that there were significant differences in the location, area and vascular abnormalities between group A and group B(P < 0.05).
