Research On Assessment Methods Of Elderly Language Communication Ability

Nowadays,population aging problem is increasingly serious in China.Scientific and healthy pension is treated as the focus of social concern.The establishment of a complete pension service system and development of elderly service is urgently demanded.Language communication ability is an important ability for people to correctly express their goal and demands.But with the degradation of physical function,the language communication ability of the elderly is different.Therefore their language communication ability is needed to be evaluated in the pension system and more reasonable care can be given.The mainly work of thesis are studied the assessment method of language communication ability of the elderly and developed the evaluation system.Firstly,according to the International Classification of Functioning,Disability and Health and the standards of ability assessment for elderly,the evaluation scales of mental status,sensory perception and communication,social participation are established and the language communication ability of the elderly evaluation index system is determined.Secondly,as the traditional speech endpoint detection method is easily affected by environmental noise,the short-time sub-band energy entropy ratio endpoint detection method is proposed.The influence of the noise is reduced and the accuracy of the speech endpoint detection is improved by sub-band,logarithmic energy,energy and entropy ratio processing.The non-phonetic parameters are extracted by the language barrier diagnosis and treatment instrument,and the extracted data is integrated and processed.Thirdly,according to the assessment characteristics of language communication ability of the elderly,the fuzzy principal component classification assessment method of elderly language communication ability is proposed.The weight of each assessment index is calculated by principal component analysis,and the comprehensive grade assessment of language communication ability is implemented based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The reliability of the proposed method is verified by applying the index data.Finally,according to the demand of the elderly language communication ability assessment,the evaluation platform is established based on C# and Windows forms,and the database is built for system data management and invocation.The evaluation system is verified that can effectively evaluate the elderly language communication ability by example application.
