An Empirical Study On The Relationship Between Psychological Contract Performance And Doctor-patient Trust In Social Transition

The lack of trust between doctors and patients is one of the most prominent contradictions,but also the most urgent social problems in our country from planned economic system to market economy system,social problems continue to emerge.The doctor-patient trust is the precondition and important guarantee of harmonious doctor-patient relationship,the doctor-patient trust will lead to loss the "emotional breakdown between patients and physicians,aggravate the contradiction between doctors and patients and medical cost,and seriously affect the harmonious doctor-patient relationship.The question of the lack of trust between doctors and patients is analyzed from the perspectives of politics,sociology,economics and psychology in the academic field.What factors influence the trust between doctors and patients? How to build up and improve the doctor-patient trust? This is a question we should ponder over.On the basis of the comprehensive trust theory and the psychological contract theory,and based on the informal and implicit psychologicalcontract between the patient and the doctor,from the perspective of patients,this study researches the relationship between psychological contract performance and doctor-patient trust,and explores the relationship between psychological contract performance and doctor-patient trust and the effect of psychological contract on doctor-patient trust.This paper takes the Taizhou city of Zhejiang Province as the survey area,and analyzes the situation of psychological contract performance and the doctor-patient trust at the present stage,and draws the conclusion as follows:1.Patients' perception of doctors' psychological contract fulfillment is at a moderate level,but there are also some patients who think doctors have failed to fulfill their responsibilities and obligations.2.The patient's trust in doctors is not high,at a moderate level of trust.There is an invisible barrier between doctors and patients,and it is difficult for patients to establish a deeper level of trust in doctors.3.There is a significant positive relationship between psychological contract performance and doctor-patient trust.Embodied in:(1)The higher the performance level of transactional psychological contract,the higher of responsibility and obligation based trust of patients.(2)The higher the performance level of transactional psychological contract,the higher of technical based trust of patients.(3)The higher the performance level oftransactional psychological contract,the higher of benevolence based trust of patients.(4)The higher the performance level of relational psychological contract,the higher responsibility and obligation based trust of patients.(5)The higher the performance level of relational psychological contract,the higher benevolence based trust of patients.According to the empirical research in this paper,this study puts forward five countermeasures to improve the doctor-patient trust: First,to establish the reward mechanism and real-time supervision mechanism,maintain the harmony of transactional psychological contract;Second,to communicate actively and maintain the stability of relational psychological contract,Third is to increase the government's financial input to guarantee the continuity of psychological contract,;Four is to carry out the management concept of "people first" and establish harmonious relationship between doctors and patients;Five is to establish a reasonable distribution system to improve the doctor-patient trust.
