| Objective:Compared with metformin hydrochloride tablets,this paper is to observe the clinical effect of Huoxuehuatan decoction combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets in the treatment of phlegm-blood stasis syndrome of type 2 diabetes.Method:In this experiment,60 patients with type 2 diabetes diagnosed with phlegm-blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into two groups with 30 in each,the treatment and the control group.The 30 patients in the treatment group took Huoxue Huatan decoction and metformin hydrochloride tablets orally,while the counterparts were treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets only,both for 8 weeks.SPSS23.0 were used to record the scores of fasting blood glucose,post-2-hour prandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,total cholesterol,triglyceride,low-density lipoprotein,high-density lipoprotein,body mass index,TCM syndromeand adverse reactions before and after treatment for data analysis.Results:1.As in blood glucose,there was no difference in fasting blood glucose,post-2-hour prandial blood glucose,and glycated hemoglobin between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).However,after treatment,both groups could see reducing fasting blood glucose,post-2-hour prandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05)in the three factors.The treatment group witnessed significant change(P<0.05)exceeding that of the control group.The combination of Huoxuehuatan decoction and metformin hydrochloride tablets had better clinical effect than metformin hydrochloride tablets taken alone in improving blood glucose.2.The total cholesterol,triglyceride,low-density lipoprotein and high-density lipoprotein of the two groups had no difference before treatment(P > 0.05).But after the treatment,there were remarkable change in the four factors(P < 0.05).The total cholesterol,triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in high-density lipoprotein(P > 0.05).The combination of Huoxuehuatan decoction and metformin hydrochloride tablets was tested better than metformin hydrochloride tablets taken alone.3.As in body mass index,there was no difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).However,after treatment,both groups could see reducing body mass index with noticeable alternative from the pre-treatment ones(P < 0.05).The treatment group witnessed significant change(P<0.05)exceeding that of the control group.The combination of Huoxuehuatan decoction and metformin hydrochloride tablets had better clinical effect than metformin hydrochloride tablets taken alone in reducing body mass index.4.In terms of symptoms and physical signs,it was the same in the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05)in thirst,excessive drinking,tiredness,heavy-headedness,body fatigue,abdominal distension,teeth marks on the dark sides of the tongue,and greasy coating on the tongue,making this experiment valuable.After the treatment,thirst,excessive drinking,and tiredness were improved in both groups compared separately with the pre-treatment records(P < 0.05),whereas comparing the post-treatment groups,there were no significant difference.However,there was immense improvement for the symptoms of head and body drowsiness,abdominal distension,teeth marks on the dark sides of the tongue and greasy tongue coating in the treatment group while it was not as the same in the control group as in the treatment one(P < 0.05).After the treatment,there was significant improvement in the treatment group in head-and-body heaviness,abdominal distension,tongue teeth marks,tongue greasy coating and the total score of syndrome(P < 0.05).The combination of Huoxuehuatan decoction and metformin hydrochloride tablets had better effect than metformin hydrochloride tablets alone in improving symptoms and regulating the function of Viscera.4.In the aspect of safety,the results of the two groups before and after treatment showed no obvious abnormality,which could be considered that the two prescriptions were both safe and effective.Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Huoxuehuatan decoction combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets on improving blood glucose,blood lipid,body mass index,body mass index and TCM symptoms of patients with phlegm-blood stasis syndrome of type 2 diabetes is better than that of metformin hydrochloride tablets taken alone. |
