?Objective?: This study aims to study the relationship between interatrial block(IAB)and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation,to determine whether there is a correlation between the two,to provide a simple, accurate, and Easy to forecast indicators.?Methods?: Through February 2018 to February 2019,inpatients in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Northwest University for Nationalities were included.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,205 patients who met the criteria were included.According to the IAB diagnosis criteria, they were divided into P wave time frames. In the two groups,P wave duration ? 120 ms was the IAB group(106 cases),and P wave duration <120ms was the sinus rhythm group(99 cases). The general information of the study subjects and the color Doppler ultrasound were recorded. These patients were followed up for 1 year, and the number of patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and those who maintained sinus rhythm were compared and compared.?Results?: In the comparison of general information between the IAB group and the sinus rhythm group, there were statistically significant differences in age, gender, history of previous diabetes, history of previous hypertension, systolic blood pressure, white blood cells, and high-density lipoprotein(P <0.05).In the comparison of echocardiograms, the differences in left and right atrium anteroposterior diameter,A value,SV,and HR were statistically significant(P <0.05).We followed up for 1 year in two groups of patients. There were 23 patients(21.70%)with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in the IAB group and 7 patients(7.07%)with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in the sinus rhythm group. The comparison between the two groups P = 0.003 <0.05 was statistically significant.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to determine that the interatrial block was an independent risk factor for the occurrence of an endpoint event.?Conclusion?: There is a correlation between IAB and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.IAB can be used as a simple, accurate, and easy predictor of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, and can be used as an independent risk factor for routine monitoring.
