Effect Of Benazepril Combined With Glimepiride On Oxidative Stress And Renal Vascular Endothelial Function In Patients With Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective To explore the effect of benazepril combined with glimepiride on oxidative stress and endothelial function in diabetic nephropathy.Methods 76 patients with diabetic nephropathy admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into the combined treatment group and the control group.All patients were received conventional treatment of hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering.Patients in the control group were received benazepril orally on the basis of conventional treatment,and patients in the combined treatment group were received glimepiride orally on the basis of treatment.The s ICAM-1,ET-1,NO,SOD,MDA and AOPPs levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.The efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared after treatment.Results:1.The s ICAM-1,ET-1,MDA and AOPPs levels in the combined treatment group were all lower than those in the control group(P < 0.01)after 2 months of treatment.Serum NO and SOD levels in the combined treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P <0.01).The total effective rate in the combined treatment group(94.7%)was higher than that in the control group(78.9%)(P <0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the combined treatment group(13.2%)was higher than that in the control group(10.5%),but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Benazepril combined with glimepiride can significantly reduce oxidative stress and improve endothelial function in patients with diabetic nephropathy,meanwhile the drug is highly effective and safe.
