Investigation On The Knowledge And Practice Of Influenza Prevention And Control Among Primary And Secondary School Teachers In Huainan City

Objective: To understand the current situation of the prevention and control of influenza in primary and secondary schools in Huainan,to provide a reference for the prevention and control of influenza prevention and control in primary and secondary schools.Methods: The KAP questionnaire for influenza prevention and control of primary and middle school teachers was designed.A total of 858 primary and secondary school teachers in 7 counties(districts)of Huainan City were investigated by using stratified sampling method.Results: The total awareness rate,attitude formation rate and behavior formation rate of primary and secondary school teachers' influenza prevention and control knowledge were 64.37%,62.18% and 72.53%,respectively.The qualified rates of influenza prevention and control KAP of primary school teachers were 60.00%,58.97% and67.93%,respectively.The qualified rates of influenza prevention and control KAP of middle school teachers were 62.15%,58.98% and 77.99%,respectively.According to the univariate analysis of influenza prevention and control,there were significant differences in KAP scores among primary and secondary school teachers in different districts,different educational levels,and whether they received health training or not.The scores of attitude and behavior of middle school teachers with different working years were statistically significant,and the scores of attitude and behavior of primary and secondary school teachers and the scores of knowledge of primary school teacherswere statistically significant as to whether they were full-time health technicians or part-time health teachers.According to the multivariate analysis of influenza prevention and control,the KAP level of influenza prevention and control in primary and secondary schools was positively correlated with the region,and the awareness rate of influenza prevention and control knowledge in primary and secondary schools was positively correlated with educational level(P < 0.05)..Television and radio are the most important ways for primary and secondary school teachers to acquire influenza knowledge,and professional books and new online media are also common ways to acquire influenza knowledge.Conclusion:The overall level of influenza prevention and control KAP of primary and secondary school teachers in Huainan City needs to be improved.It is suggested that Huainan City should further strengthen the prevention and control of influenza in primary and secondary schools,carry out the joint control mode of "government-school-teacher-society" influenza prevention and control,give full play to the main role of primary and secondary school teachers,construct a safety net for campus influenza prevention and control,effectively reduce the influenza infection rate of primary and secondary school students in Huainan City,and ensure the physical and mental health of students.
