objective:To discuss the clinical manifestations,pathological features,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of primary double carcinoma of endometrium and ovary and endometrial neuroendocrine carcinoma.Methods:This case report introduces a case of endometrial neuroendocrine carcinoma with moderately differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the ovary and reviews related the literatures.Results:The female presented with irregular vaginal bleeding,the result of cervical biopsy was considered as neuroendocrine carcinoma.After surgical treatment,the patient was diagnosed with the stage IIIA endometrial neuroendocrine carcinoma complicated with stage IIA moderately differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the right ovary.Chemotherapy with paclitaxel plus cisplatin regimen was administered afte surgery.Conclusion Neither synchronous primary endometrial and ovarian cancer nor endometrial neuroendocrine carcinoma has specific clinical manifestations,and the diagnosis depends on pathology and immunohistochemical examination.At present,surgery combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy is often used. |
