Retrospective Study On The Influencing Factors Of Hospitalization Efficacy In Elderly Patients With Depression

Objective: Depression is a common mental disease.Our country is gradually entering the population ageing,and the elderly population is gradually increasing.Older people have more physical diseases,clinical symptoms are different from adult depression,treatment is more complex than young people.At present,the study on the risk factors and curative effect of Late-life Depression involves more complicated examination.In this study,we reviewed the related data,examination and curative effect of Late-life Depression patients during hospitalization to explore the factors influencing the curative effect of Late-life Depression patients.Methods: Information was collected on age,sex,educational background,radiographic examination,and chronic disease in elderly depression patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of the Chongqing Medical University from May 2018 to September 2019,a total of 145 valid data were analyzed by Ordinal multivariate logistic analysis.Results: It was found that age and the times of rTMS were related to the curative effect of Late-life Depression,but the times of MECT were not related to the curative effect.Conclusion: The age of Late-life Depression patients is negatively correlated with the curative effect of hospitalization,the times of rTMS are positively correlated with the curative effect of hospitalization.There wasno significant correlation between in-patient outcomes and gender,educational background,chronic diseases,frequency of MECT and brain imaging abnormalities.We need to focus on older patients,on the treatment for geriatric depression,on individualized treatment regimens.
