Objective:To observe risk factors affecting the prognosis of meconium aspiration syndrome(MAS)in preterm infants. Methods: We collected a total of 92 cases of MAS in preterm infants at the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2010 to October 2019.They were grouped by clinical outcomes, retrospective analyzed their clinical dates. Results: A total of 92 newborns were included,48(52.2%)cases had good prognosis(discharged or improved),44(47.8%)cases had bad prognosis(dead or treatment abandoning).Gestational age[33.9(32.3~36.0)vs.32.3(30.0~36.0),w,P=0.016] and PH[7.3(7.2~7.4)vs.7.2(7.1~7.3),P=0.016] in survival group was significantly higher than non-survival group. The death rate was closely related to pulmonary hemorrhage?gestational age?renal failure?necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis explained that pulmonary hemorrhage(OR 6.37,95% CI 2.02~20.08)?renal failure(OR 4.51,95% CI 1.43~4.28)?gestational age(OR = 0.77,95% CI 0.62 ~ 0.96)and necrotizing enterocolitis significantly increased mortality in preterm infant with MAS.Conclusion: Pulmonary hemorrhage?gestational age?renal failure?necrotizing enterocolitis were independent risk factor for the prognosis of MAS in preterm infants.
