Information Dissemination Study On Bayannaor's Common Regional Disease

In order to consolidate the achievements in the control and prevention of endemic diseases and lay a more solid foundation for the health of the masses,the National Health Commission(NHC)and nine relevant departments jointly issued the three-year campaign on control and prevention of endemic diseases(2018-2020),which focused on strengthening control and prevention measures,strengthening community-level enforcement,and strengthening the prevention and treatment of local diseases to help win the battle against poverty.One of the important forces driving social change is the dissemination of information,which also plays an important part in the process of local disease contol and promotion.After decades of efforts,Bayannur has succeeded initially in the control and prevention of endemic diseases,but the general situation is still not optimistic.From the perspective of information dissemination,the control and prevention of endemic diseases in Bayannur has the problems of not making full use of the advantages of information dissemination,relatively backward means of transmission and residents' low awareness of endemic diseases.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the information dissemination of common endemic diseases in Bayannur and put forward effective dissemination strategies to increase the residents' awareness of the control and prevention of common endemic diseases.Through questionnaires and in-depth interviews conducted in three regions with different population distribution and regional characteristicsin Bayannur: Linhe(agricultural area),Urad Back Banner(pastoral area)and Urad Front Banner(agricultural and pastoral area),the author has found that the problems that exist in the information dissemination of common endemic diseases in Bayannur include: the one-way and linear mode of information dissemination,the lack of residents' evaluation and feedback,less information capacity and original content,unbalanced proportion of all kinds of information,not making full use of new media,and the residents' low awareness of endemic diseases,not taking the initiative to pay attention to the information of endemic diseases or even ignoring it and the "digital gap" in the access to information of common endemic diseases by residents in agricultural and pastoral areas.In this regard,we should carry out a deep thinking: Why there are these problems? How to deal with them effectively?It shows that the factors that affecting the information dissemination of common endemic diseases in Bayannur include dissemination content,dissemination subject,dissemination channel and audience.Therefore,the measures of improving the status and level of the information dissemination of common endemic diseases in Bayannur are mainly as follows: building the perfect information dissemination mode and residents' evaluation and feedback mechanism,improving the information content,balancing the proportion of all kinds of information,following the trend of new media era,making full use of new media dissemination mode,improving the residents' awareness of health,and bridging the "digital gap" in agricultural and pastoral areas.
