Abstract/Summary:
ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Governor Vessel moxibustion combined with conventional modern medical therapy on treating the patient with residual neurological symptoms of Lumbar Disc Herniation after Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy, and to verify its effectiveness and feasibility,so as to provide some basis and guidance for clinical application and promotion.MethodsThe cases in this study come from the patients who were hospitalized in our hospital for Lumbar Disc Herniation from December 2018 to December 2019.Using the method of random control,60 patients who meet the research standard were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,30 in each group. The control group was treated with conventional modern medical therapy, and the experimental group was treated with Governor Vessel moxibustion on the basis of conventional modern medical therapy.Observe and record the changes of VAS score, nylon test score and JOA score before and after treatment. The observation time was 8 weeks.Data were analyzed by statistical software SPSS 20.Results1.All 60 patients in the study group completed the clinical observation.2.There was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05)in general information(age, gender, disease stage),which was comparable. Before treatment, there was no significant difference in VAS score, nylon test score and JOA score between the two groups(p>0.05).It was comparable.3.After treatment: There were significant differences in VAS score, nylon test score and JOA score between the two groups before and after treatment(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups in the first week after operation(p>0.05),but there was significant difference in the second, fourth and eighth weeks after operation(p<0.05),and the difference increased with the time. And the experimental group was better than the control group. There was no significant difference in JOA score between the two groups in the first week after operation(p>0.05),but there was significant difference in the second, fourth and eighth weeks after operation(p<0.05),and the difference increased with the time. And the experimental group was also better than the control group. There was no significant difference in nylon test scores between the two groups 8 weeks after operation(p>0.05).4.In clinical effect: In terms of pain, the effective rate of the experimental group was96.67%,and the effective rate of the control group was 46.67%,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),indicating that the pain effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group. In terms of lumbar function, the effective rate of the experimental group was 83.33%,and the effective rate of the control group was 30%,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),indicating that the effect of the experimental group was also better than that of the control group. In terms of numbness, the total effective rate was 70% in the experimental group and 60% in the control group, with no significant difference(p>0.05),indicating that there was no difference between the two groups.ConclustionGovernor Vessel moxibustion combined with conventional modern medical therapy can effectively treat the residual nerve symptoms of Lumbar Disc Herniation after Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy. In terms of alleviating postoperative residual pain and improving lumbar function, its curative effect is better than that of conventional modern medical therapy alone, which is worth clinical application and promotion.
