Objective:This topic from the Angle of view of the premature infant parents,focus on donor breast milk feeding,investigation premature parents attitude and cognition status of donor breast milk,infant parents view of donor breast milk and the factors that influence the intention behavior,so as to develop the human milk bank and donor breast milk provide targeted reference and basis for the clinical applications,thereby promoting breastfeeding rates rise,further improve the quality of survival of premature babies.Method: 1.Construction of a questionnaire on the cognitive attitudes of parents of preterm infants to donor breast milk feeding.On the basis of literature review,the initial questionnaire was constructed according to the model of knowledge,attitude and practice theory.After the preliminary investigation,the cognitive attitude questionnaire with good reliability and validity was obtained.2.A survey on the cognition and attitude of parents of premature infants towards breast milk donation.A questionnaire survey was conducted on the parents of premature infants admitted to the NICU ward of two hospitals in Shanghai from April to December 2017,using convenient sampling method.The content includes general demographic data,maternal and infant data,and the questionnaire on the cognition and attitude of donor breast milk.3.A qualitative study on the related perception and behavior of donor breastfeeding for parents of premature infants.Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 hospitalized parents of premature infants face to face in-depth interviews.According to the phenomenological research method,the interview recordings were arranged and analyzed to make a supplementary analysis of the perception of parents of premature infants on donor breastfeeding and the factors affecting their behaviors.Results: 1.In this survey,parents of premature infants scored 7.64±2.92 on the knowledge of donor breast milk,which was general and uneven,and they did not know much about the source,benefits,disadvantages and uses of breast milk donation.The attitude score was 40.42±5.30,but the willingness to seek breast milk donation was not high.Only 6.1% of the patients would seek help from the human milk bank when their own mother’s milk was insufficient.At the same time,women,parents of premature babies with advanced education、high income and who gave birth in specialized hospitals scored higher in cognition and positive attitude towards breast milk donation.2.Interview with parents of premature infants about the reasons for their perception and behavior of breast milk donation,and learn that parents of premature infants recognize the existence of breast milk bank,but their acceptance of breast milk donation is not high,due to lack of knowledge,traditional concepts,personal experience,family members’ attitude and the popularity of formula milk.Conclusions: Parents of premature infants have a general level of cognition on donated breast milk,and lack of knowledge about the safety,benefits and USES of donated breast milk.The low willingness of parents of premature infants to receive donated breast milk may be related to the lack of knowledge,the influence of traditional and personal views,and the popularity of formula milk.Therefore,to expand the clinical application of donated breast milk,the development of breast milk bank,on the one hand to government regulation,the development of the corresponding laws and regulations,management guidelines,on the other hand,to increase publicity,more ways to understand,so that parents of premature infants change their ideas,so as to promote the parents of premature infants to receive donated breast milk behavior. |
